I have bit the bullet and bought Starzplay for the time it's on - not paying for it after - and now can't wait.

Are you talking about the new series?

I'm going to wait till all the episodes are on then get the month free trial and binge. I already pay for Sky, Netflix and Prime. I'm just not paying for another.

I was planning to do the same but there is an offer of £1.99 per month for 6 months so might do that and then cancel.

I'm tempted to get the offer. Bet it runs out on Monday!

Yes, I have it on the offer, £1.99 a month. I've read all the books so have been finding it a bit annoying as it has gone off route - not in so much the story - but in the feeling of the books. Not enough humour. Roger is portrayed wrong ( although Richard Rankin is brilliant with what he is given) but still the books and the series are two different mediums I keep telling myself.

Will it be on at a certain time or can you watch at any time tomorrow?

It usually comes on about Midnight EST, so 5am for us. On Amazon we didn't get it till the Monday, so we do now get it earlier.

I’ve just paid the £1.99 so we can watch. Have been watching Men in Kilts whilst I wait!

I love the books and have to separate them from the tv series in my mind as they are quite difficult. I like the slow pace of the books (loved J+C just pottering around on the Ridge for hundreds of pages in TFC!) and feel like the tv series has them ricocheting between different types of mortal peril every episode, but I still love it really!

Will it be available on any other channel eventually? I am really annoyed that it is only on yet another paid for channel. I already pay for a TV licence, Prime and Netflix and I object to having to pay yet more tbh.

I'm in. I have had starz for about 2 years cos I wanted to watch the Spanish princess and all other historical romances on there. I have rewatched all 5 seasons now and looking forward to 5am tomorrow.

I was really looking forward to this, but is it the case you can only watch it through Prime by subscribing to Starz?. I don’t have Prime and trying to decide what to do as it’s my favourite show…

How is everyone watching it when signed up for Starz?
We've got a Samsung smart tv but can't find the Starz app.
Can you watch through Amazon Prime and if so how?
I don't want to watch it all on my iPad.

I only got round to watching it last year then steamed through it all in 2 weeks

Part of me wants to hold on and watch them in one but dont want my curiosity to get better of me and i check spoilers

Even with Prime you have to pay extra. I am following this with interest as I really want to watch it, but I am a bit miffed. I may wait, get the free trial and binge watch it.

Same. We already pay for a few other streaming services, bloody annoying that every network seemingly has their own now, I can’t pay to watch every single programme I like!
