I'm confused ,that friend of Toyah,s looks very much like Emma Kenney ( TV crime psychologist ) she was listed in the credits as Emma Taylor 🤔 I' watch a lot of true crime and she's always presenting them .

How did Gail miss noticing Martin's car parked outside when she went round to Rebecca's flat to return the purse?

It was clearly visible through the window on an earlier occasion, when Rebecca and Martin were deciding to go out and buy cushions together.

So his car must have been somewhere outside when Gail went round.

Also, how has Audrey (who supposedly is practically penniless and struggling for money) suddenly managed to upgrade her car (from a modest little Renault) to a big posh BMW?

I do love the relationship between Jack ,Vera and Tyrone it's really well done ,they have a crap son and he has crap parents but they clearly think the world of each other 😍

So did I. I feel like they are more like brother and sister, that's what makes it feel icky.

I love the relationships between the women back then - so much more loyal and seemingly developed than now. Especially Sarah-Lou and Candice - really good actresses. Makes me realise even more that it's the scripts now, rather than the acting, that's gone downhill (aside from the Aggie family, that is).

Things do seem much more natural. Even Ty going on first date and talking with Jack n Vera then trying brag about it at work then asking Steve advice all very sweet and innocent and normal! These days it would never happen they be sneaking around behind parents back.

Is the David now the same David? I didn’t think it was but then did some facial expressions today and I thought they look v familiar! Poor Gail her worlds going blow up soon (didn’t watch this at time) and little Davies going be teenage from hell!

Not liking Debbie at all, very boring character is she supposed to be attracting all male viewers at time? She be considered far to old today for all that I’m sure.

@Akire yes, same David! I think he changed heads a few weeks ago and has been in it with the same head ever since. I didn't watch it 22 years ago and am really enjoying it - my guilty pleasure at 6am before work.

Agreed re Debs - not keen on her at all. Loving Natalie though, although I gather that she had an affair with Sally's husband Kev - I started watching after all that ....

As a previous poster says, it’s starting to feel almost like it’s the modern day now, what with Eileen and Maria arriving. Fiz can’t be far off now either.
