Has Jamie Dornan as a man who finds himself in Australia with amnesia trying to piece together who is trying to kill him. Has been likened to the film Memento with Guy Pearce. Looks promising.

The girl from the restaurant who was looking through and deleting the photos - was that "man with no name" with her in the pics? DH thinks it was the guy who's buried underground. Bit I think it's Jamie Dornan.

Eh? It was quite obviously the main protagonist Jamie - that was the whole shock twist? Does your DH need to go to Specsavers? Grin

Anyway, worried this thread has already sneaked some spoilers in so I’m leaving till I’ve seen the whole thing!

We enjoyed it!
Def not boring, but obviously with many holes - why not just put the photo ‘out there’ - but that wouldn’t make for an exciting series!! A lot of suspension of reality required.

As for beards - am not a fan. Teen son keeps on trying to grow one but his facial hair is too coarse and it looks like pubes on his chin 😆 thankfully he’s shaved it off again. A bit of stubble is as far as he should go. Not sure what the trend is for young men and beards - they add nothing to someone’s looks and usually detract from them!

Yep it’s deffo got that Fortitude/Third Day batshit bonkers vibe and HBO have obviously thrown a ton of cash at it!

It's handy that the hospital managed to find such well fitting clothes for him. I'd have ended up in half mast trousers, a too baggy t shirt and mismatched shoes.

Why did he not mention the explosion at the diner to Helen when she called? I agree that it seems like everyone is in on it, but why? Perhaps there's nothing else to do in the outback...

I can't get myself into a froth over Jamie Dornan, especially not with a beard. I like him as an actor but I like men who crack a smile occasionally!

I didn't like Helen's husband. That bit where she said "back when I was beautiful" and he replied "you will be again". Obviously not the right answer, mate. Is the actress playing her the one who was in Dumplin'? I really like her, anyway, and suspect she will turn out not to be quite so bumbling and incompetent as she made out.

No, it wasn't aimed at you personally at all.

But I've seen it happen many times that people post spoilers about shows which are showing at TV pace and are available on the BBC player. Not saying they are doing so deliberately, but there can be confusion. Hence why many TV pace threads come with a 'no spoiler' request.

I am really enjoying this ( episode 3 )
I like everything Jamie is in especially the fall , I just can't stand watching him in the fifty shades movies.
But this is really enjoyable

Helen won't lose weight ordering ' sides' ! ( I'm not fat shaming at all , I'm overweight myself ) I hope she loses it though. Her boyfriend is being good cooking healthier meals. How can a mobile work underground? Must be running out of battery too. Poor bloke ( unless he is baddie and of course Cafe lady not telling him who she was is weird !
Her boyfriend is vile and she deserves much better! I hope she doesn’t lose weight at all and realises what a complete controlling dick he is and dumps him!

He is trying to help her I suppose but going about the wrong way of course

I don't think Helen wants to lose weight. Or at least not in the way her fiancé wants her to.

I enjoyed this. I liked the slower pace.

WRT to the question of whether it's No Name or Buried Man in the photos, whist I agree it's No Name in the photos, I also thought he was the one buried 😂

How long can you survive in a box with no air? Was there ventilation to it?

Dh thought it was a flashback to Jamie 'no name ' being buried alive ..it was the beard confusing him.
They said the car that he was driving was registered to a woman , have they contacted her ?
