Has Jamie Dornan as a man who finds himself in Australia with amnesia trying to piece together who is trying to kill him. Has been likened to the film Memento with Guy Pearce. Looks promising.

Also Helen and her boyfriend are really poor characters. Not convinced they’re great actors either.

Have only watched first three …

I’m guessing the man with gun in Bali was actually after Luci - and Elliot killed (if he did) the man to protect her. So rich baddie is after him for that, but he doesn’t actually have a criminal background. Basically nothing she says is true - and the American man with gun not dying presages the discovery that the man in Bali also didn’t die.

Presumably she also drove him round in circles trying to keep him away from rescuing his phone buddy.

Though of course I’ll find out how wrong I am once iTunes offers up Ep 4.

I'm seriously considering given it up despite being 3 and a half episodes in. The pace is seriously slow, the script banal and the characters dull. A shame, as the location and the premise are great.

I gave up at the start of episode 3 with the boar shooting and man talking Spanish? While sitting at a big back table in a big dark room in his dark clothes.

Greek. But yes. None of the characters, interactions and situations seem plausible, even allowing for the usual suspension of disbelief. And the pace is snail like.

There's much you just have to suspend disbelief it's almost like they are done on purpose. Especially with things like the cop was still eating the nacos the next day and the taxi man hadn't finished his drink by the morning!!

What will piss me off is if at the end Helen stays with the arse of a fiance.

I love all that too! They got completely drenched but were bone dry and neat the next minute in the car! Sure it's done on purpose, it's so so Australian!!

Really enjoyed this. And not just because Jamie is easy on the eye!

It reminded me of films like No country for Old men.
A mixture of Coen brothers and some Tarantino stuff.

Well maybe not quite as good as that, but still enjoyable!

@Justkeeppedaling I really wanted to love it, I love JD! The continuity was bothering me the whole way through, one minute he can't drive the next he's driving along like normal 😂 and the never ended drink being slurped. Just didn't get it.

Enjoyed Ep 4! Dornan could surely make any character dull, not just this one, but the others are entertaining enough to carry him. This is probably the first episode where I really want the next one straight away.
