Just finished episode one and need to talk about it!!!

Didn't like much of the episode to be honest. But the ending! I'm floored! Was not expecting that.

I kinda get the Miranda thing though, if her and Steve haven't had sex for years then something new would be exciting so have that as her story line, maybe not the alcoholism as well or are 2 story lines for 1 character making up for the lack of Samantha? And my god, aren't we missing Samantha and her comedy element?

Anthony reaction to Charlotte about Rose was good and true, nothing needs to be rushed.

So neurotic, crazy Carrie is still in there but unanswered questions like leaving money to Natasha would drive me mad too I guess.
Che's stand up went on for way too long, it's not the che show though seems to be becoming it.
Charlotte and stanford's little spat..... really? Wtf was that about? Pointless and made Charlotte look like a bitch!

I think there are too many different plots lines going on and it is too ‘busy’. Where has the fun and laughter gone!

Maybe Miranda’s drinking a little much to make up for the lack of a sex life. So if she gets a love life back vi Che the drinking might sort itself out.

I do like it. I think it’s a better way to take the characters forward than the second movie. I’m glad that’s not where we left them forever, int he desert.

Way too Che for me but I don't like the character. I hate how Miranda has turned from confident to awkward, I cringe watching her now. I did love her phone call with Carrie though, it reminded me of the original series. Especially with crazy Carrie muttering to herself down the street after Natasha rejected her

The standup routine was pure cringe. Che is totally gorgeous so I can well understand why Miranda would be interested in her, but the character is awful

Well done to those who correctly guessed where the storyline with Charlotte's daughter was going!

Still loving the clothes, shoes and bags. Also loved how they squealed and tried to hide when Natasha saw them through the window - that's exactly what they would have done in the old days!

I thought that Carrie's comedy club dress looked familiar - anyone remember if she wore it in the original series?

I blame Cynthia Nixon for the excessive LGBTQ+ focus. I suspect it’s mostly coming from her, given she’s in a gay relationship and has a trans child, plus her policies when running for governor.

Aside from the rubbish podcast and stand-up scenes with Che, I enjoyed episode three a lot.

Things I particularly liked:

• All the Carrie and Natasha stuff. I like it whenever Carrie acts a bit crazy, and the two characters work well together.
• Carrie’s outfit when walking around New York
• Anthony and the Hot Fellas Bakery. I never really liked Anthony in the original series but I think he’s hilarious in this. And quite hot
• Stanford’s little confrontation with Charlotte in the restaurant. Was this his last episode? His humour is going to be sorely missed in the show.

Way too much Che. I don't get why non-binary characters have to be all about being non-binary. Is that the only thing they're interested in? (I doubt it!). Greys have just introduced a non-binary character and so far no big drama about it. I'm sure they'd have a non-binary Callie back if SR was looking for opportunities.

Still not interested in what's going on with Miranda really. Pretty angry she said something about eating ice cream with Steve when they actually appeared to be eating yoghurt?!

Totally agree with PP who mentioned Antony's reaction. He nailed it! But also liked Charlotte's initial reply: "I don't always feel like a girl either". Hoping Rose explores this without jumping to any conclusions.

And yes to everyone who has mentioned the fashion. It was all so good this week!! Loved the return of THE BELT.

And loved having crazy Carrie back.

I loved the scene between Natasha and Carrie. Took me back to when Carrie chipped Natasha's tooth! Ah the good old days.

I also loved the bit where Natasha caught them pointing at the window - that made me laugh.

Agree Anthony's reaction re Rose was great! I hope they let Rose develop her character slowly given she is a child.

Carrie and Miranda seemed to have settled into their roles, Charlotte not so much, seems a bit awkward but maybe that's the surgery/fillers.

Not enjoying Miranda's bits at all.

Che bit far too long. Does being 'non-binary' define you, is that all there is to a person? No other qualities just I'm non binary.

Looking forward to seeing more of where the Carrie and Big storyline is going. Hoping this brings up some surprises as my eyes were rolling at the rest.

Miranda is annoying me. Actually, Miranda is just annoying. As are Steve and Brady.

I thought Carrie’s old building looked very different at the very end? I know it’s probably been redecorated since the series ended but it just seemed a lot wider.

Oh- and what was Carrie doing with that hat at the solicitor’s office? She looked like Woody from Toy Story.

Best part of the whole fucking show.

It’s not fun. It’s not funny. It’s so stupidly PC it’s not like the original so no point watching. I find the Che character extremely irritating and the podcast is shit. Watching Carrie be tired is making me feel tired. Also still struggling with charlotte’s distracting pillow face and Miranda’s awful wig.

Also standford’s glasses?!?! Why do they not curl round his ear but extend a metre back into his head? Why was Carrie wearing a bag over her breast in the first scene? Disappointing poo.

Agree re outfits though! Look great.

Also agree re che not having a personality beyond being non binary - can she literally discuss nothing else? Makes the episodes feel like an after school special ffs. I don’t need to be patronised or educated I just want to watch TV!
