Came on to see what everyone thought of the first episode tonight but can’t find a thread. Where are my people?

Will be really happy if Schmidt is never to be seen again! It was a boring episode, the Bailey and young Dr story was also tedious.

Yea it's so dull now. Should have wrapped this up when Karev left. I'd love to know what really went on there!

Why is everyone at that hospital and amazing genius, who can cure everything going and fix the unfixable, all capable of ground breaking research? Is no one just a normal, competent doctor? And if they are so amazing, why is their hospital failing to attract residents?

Meredith and Maggie have to be the most boring women alive.
And I miss Bailey bring all bad ass. She just lurches from one whiny emotional crisis to another!

It's soooooo bad.

Linc and Amelia were great to start with. I'm totally unconvinced by the proposal scenario and him turning into Mr Dad.

I can't get interested in any of the residents. But is that because when Grey etc were residents there wasn't loads of other (more senior) characters?

Everyone just seems a bit dull. I think Helm has potential but she gets no storylines. Like others, I'm not a big Owen fan.

As a die hard fan, I’m so utterly bored of this show and find myself really not caring about any of them that much at all. It just doesn’t feel like they’ve got the characters anymore. Ellen gets paid a fortune per episode so my cynical side says that’s why it still going but it should’ve been done a long time ago.

No, there's going to be another..... that'l be what.... 19? I really hope they aren't planning on going for a round 20! I'm really only watching because I've watched for too long to abandon it now but I do agree it should have ended a while ago.

I thought they might have ended it with the Covid series (that series was awful, except for the Derek bits). I really thought (hoped) they would have ended it there .... have Meredith die and run into the sunset with Derek!

It definitely has the feel now of something that is clinging on too long. Fed up of feeling constantly lectured!
Station 19 has grown on me. I resisted it for ages because I felt manipulated by the crossover stories. It's still very preachy but has enough decent characters to sustain interest at the same time.
This is what Grey's is lacking now.

I'm only still watching as I've been with it since the beginning.... saying that tho, I abandoned The Walking Dead and never did watch the last 2 seasons!

This was the 400th episode I think.
It was better this week, maybe because of all the flashbacks.
And it had more of a story and less of the preaching
