Yup. The whole assisted suicide aspect doesn't fit his back story at all - there was an episode about it with Sara Gilbert (Darlene from Rosanne and Big Bang theory) a cancer patient where teddy asked him to be the second dr on a physician assisted suicide and he flat out refused and tried to prevent it.

Would much preferred the story to go Hayes turns him in, Owen leaves.

Me too! I'm so fed up with him. I really liked him when he came in to it as well.

Decidedly underwhelmed.

Not at all bothered about Hayes. He never really had a character, apart from being a widower with two kids. Does he even have a first name? He was so clearly brought in to be a love interest for Meredith, only there was zero chemistry. Did the writers learn something from the disaster that was Maggie and Jackson?

Couldnt care about Owen. Never liked him.

Meredith babbles on about her kids, then decides to go off with Bland Man, rather than go home to see them

Maggies husband now just as great a surgeon as she is. Even though she is supposed to be the youngest and best heart surgeon ever.

Poor Linc. He’s one of the nicest characters.

I always notice they bang on about feeling guilty they spend so much time away from their kids at work, but then jump at the chance to go to drinking after a long shift. They must have magical childcare arrangements!

Another boring ep.
can we hope we have seen the last of Schmidt? Everyone was so busy feeling sorry for him and not saying “you were told to wait for the attending. Why did you deliberately disobey this simple instruction?” There was more sympathy for him than the poor sod who died.
