Absolutely loved it!

My list of big house jobs includes 'declutter' in every room so I was hoping to put off doing it be inspired. Loved Stacey Solomon though would have liked more from Ivan on the cleaning.

I didn’t know this was back!

The girls are so lovely in this. The message to mummy 💕

Rummikub · 21/02/2024 04:02

Well I pretty much cried all the way through this. 😢

MeemawTucker · 21/02/2024 08:59

Oh I didn’t know it was back for a new series! Is Dilly there? I love Dilly

And obviously it's not just Stacey and her three mates sorting the house out. There's a massive team we don't see.

Yep and the dreaded Joe Swash is shoe horned in as well

HufflepuffRavenclaw · 21/02/2024 10:27

I love Stacey. She is so warm and genuine and the kids last night clearly adored her. She is just perfect for this programme.

MichaelAndEagle · 21/02/2024 10:47

Brilliant perfect episode. I too am part of the Stacey fan club, she's so genuinely warm and lovely.

Katherineryan1986 · 21/02/2024 13:30

I loved this episode. What a lovely family, those girls were adorable.

Quite a tear-jerker at times.

I got why the MIL said she didn’t tidy as she didn’t want to appear interfering, but I would have thought she and the children’s auntie could have done some under the guise of doing it for cleanliness for the children. Anyway, it’s done now and I hope they can all keep on top of it and carry on with their lives.

What's different about Stacey I can't put my finger in it? Dh said the same.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 21/02/2024 15:41

Cried throughout that episode

ColinRobinsonsFart · 21/02/2024 16:22

Watched this last night with DH. I cried and even DH kept muttering 'poor bugger' and sniffed a bit. DH usually hates this sort of program but even he said it was a worthy cause.

Lovely bloke, fabulous girls.

Not watched it yet, but perhaps new hair colour? Not her usual red, but more blonde maybe?

I thought that too. Having thought about it I wonder maybe she looks different because I think in all the other series she was either pregnant or had recently given birth ( I think she had two children quite close together) . So maybe just her posture was different.
I loved it last night but very emotional and for Dilly too. Stacy has so much empathy for people and is so supportive and encouraging.

Juniper68 · 21/02/2024 18:28

@Crochetablanket that's a good point.

BatshitCrazyWoman · 21/02/2024 19:02

I'm watching on catch up and enjoying it. I love Stacey and also think she looks different!

Meredusoleil · 21/02/2024 20:21

Just watched last night's and thought the 2 girls were so cute! Especially the youngest. Really adorable. And bossy too 😜 Stacey is so good with them.

Loved most of the house except for the dark wall colours.

mysparkleismissing · 21/02/2024 20:26

Love love love this programme. What a gorgeous family!! I sniffed all the way through it.

This would be my dream job!

Tumbleweed101 · 21/02/2024 21:02

Just watched it - glad I wasn't the only one who cried. I lost my mum last year and anything like that makes me cry these days!

Sad about Dilly too, hope she makes a good recovery. Probably explains why she wasn't able to do all episodes last season.

100%

BlessedBeTheFruitCake · 22/02/2024 16:20

They’re such a lovely team, every one of them. Was a very emotional episode this week, the baubles for the little girls really got me.

Even Iwan? Dresses in white and cream, does “cleaning”?

He’s definitely the Zeppo.

I love the other three, but he seems to be there on some sort of job creation programme. He’s never once shown a “cleaning tip” I haven’t already known or was irrelevant because they were about to repaint anyway.

Dilly is a goddess. I’m so glad her treatment went well.

Rummikub · 22/02/2024 16:37

I liked his shaving foam on carpet stains tip! I do prefer the other three tho.

elrider · 22/02/2024 20:26

I must have missed where they said why it was emotional for Dilly. I saw the part where Stacey was saying it must be hard and giving her a hug etc but didn't know why. Couldn't figure out if she'd just lost her mum like the girls, her partner like the husband, or something else.

BigBoysDontCry · 22/02/2024 20:33

Dilly missed some of the last series as she was having treatment for cancer.
