Fucking hell is anyone watching? Those poor women/girls.

Just caught up with the programme. So completely heartbreaking.
I don't envy the police in having to investigate this.
That first couple were horrifying. It's clear that 1 or both of them were responsible, but there was no way of proving who, so they both walk free.
The second case was so odd and so hard. The sentence seemed so light, I have no idea if the sentencing guidelines didn't allow any more but it didn't seem to reflect the seriousness of the poor baby's injuries.

Just watched the baby episode, that was hard to comprehend. I feel callous saying this but maybe it would have been kinder if he had died . I didn't believe the dad from the start, but she seemed odd too. Fucking 3 years how? The baby will suffer longer than that. There aren't many episodes that really get into your head, this was one.
