the whole point of this programme is on remodelling an existing house
Is it? I thought the whole point was to watch the architect's expression as they are introduced to the result of the householders' wilful disregard of their carefully crafted plan.

The couple made the right decision for them but the programme-makers made the wrong decision for us.

Why isn't Angela Scanlon on every other TV programme? She's absolutely delightful.
She seems to have such a good relationship with everyone who appears 9n the show.

I too started getting suspicious when the middle segment started dragging on.

Liked Will’s design but I thought that’s not in budget. I think when they did their sums they got that. Lizzie’s kitchen was tiny. We have a huge family that all help & I don’t see more than 1 or 2 in that designed kitchen. They’d have not been happy. Better for them to move. But was sad not to have a reveal.

I too thought Lizzie's kitchen was too small. A big open space stretching the back of the house was what was needed with the home office / snug at the front.

Why not finish with Robert's Took 3 Years, Double the Budget plus a New Baby episode?

But I don't think the schedulers rate this show very highly, they're always messing about with it, dropping it for something else, splitting the seasons. Shame.
I've really enjoyed this series, the architects have explained more how and why they created this design

It was a bit weird to end with that one. A bit like look, by now even the people entering the show know that our plans can bit a weird and never come in on budget.

I don't know if it's just the type of people who go on these programmes but why is everyone so concerned about 'entertaining space' for their massive families? How often are they entertaining to make it a priority for the design of their homes?

I think you're right, it must be a certain type. Having people around us probably one of the last things I'd design my home around

For anyone missing this show, there's a similar programme starting today on bbc called Virtually Home. On every afternoon.
Downside seems to be the VR images don't seem to be as immersive (obviously smaller budget) and more importantly NO ANGELA SCANLON! Boo!
She should be on every show on TV
