I'm so looking forward to another dark drama.

He sounded a bit English to me while drunk. And the a tor is American.
The Deacon also had a dodgy accent, but he is Scottish, so he has an excuse.

God I’ll have to rewatch it now to see if it’s Significant.

I’m wondering if it’s going to be linked to the other girl who has gone missing. Interesting to see what happens in nexts weeks episode as Mare is no longer on the case

I’m guessing it has to be, as they spent a lot of screen time on that in the first two episodes.

It is a bit like the Killing that she totally botched it, now she is isolated and will not give up investigating.

I saved up the first 3 eps and binged them last night. Loved it, Kate Winslet is so watchable. No thoughts on who's the murderer but I like PP's theories about he cousin priest. Also, totally agree about Evan Peters' acting, he's so underrated as an actor. He's amazing in the AHS series, playing all kinds of weird and wonderful characters brilliantly (easy on the eyes too )

I'm loving this series! KW is mesmerising, I can't take my eyes off her. That scene in the doctor's office was just incredible.

I clocked the priest cousin from the get go as a possible suspect. I think the deacon is dodgy but not the actual murderer.

Who was it on the cctv at the old couples house that she deleted the footage and why did she do it? And who do we think will be the father of Erin’s baby? I think they could have the murderer be a woman perhaps...

I for sure thought Erin’s father was the baby’s father but that scene when Dylan insists on the baby being put on his lap changed my mind because I suddenly noticed that everyone is dark but the baby is fair/ginger. Like the priest cousin actually! But Dylan is dark, both his parents are, Erin was, her father was ...

Rewatched the drunk scene and I’m not catching accents beyond drunkenness. 🧐

This is quality!

KW’s accent is impeccable. The Pennsylvania accent is very hard to get right, and not often heard on screen.

Still loving this. The balance of comedy (Mare's mum) and tragedy is just right IMO.

The flashback to her son stealing her money was heartbreaking.
