The best thing about classic Corrie is the comic characters. There were quite a few who had funny one liners and lightened the mood when there were stressy storylines. You don't get that much on soaps these days.

I did have to laugh at Nick asking Leanne if she knew what her mother looked like. I half-expected her to say, ‘You know Cindy Beale off EastEnders...?’

So, to the drama ! Oh ! I was so looking forward to a trip down memory lane but Samantha is awful banging on the door as Chris says they are over and as for "Log" ! Spider thinks he is the bomb. Toyah is the best character at the moment and she is only fifteen and Mike looking around for spies as he uses his mobile phone !

Also, in the latest edition of ‘Ooh, what’s she been in?’, the court clerk is Elizabeth Feldmann/Pollard of Emmerdale fame.

I don't think ,so but I do know the actress had a small baby at the time .

I'm enjoying watching Dreary suffer. I know, I know, but she's such a pain. I liked it the first time round, and enjoying it again now.

Emily is great! I look back and think of this mild and timid old lady, but she was a sassy woman, back in the day, wasn't she?
Most of all, I like Hayley and Roy - the slow build up into endearing and real love - really well done.

Deirdre boasted about her gold card way too much. She needed taken down a peg or two.

My daughters were born in 1991 and 1993, I used Pampers too, and sometimes Huggies.

Both brands had separate boys and girls nappies
