What with Ning waving the frigid card, I’m guessing Mark isn’t that into her in more ways than one.
My gran’s old neighbour used to say you don’t look at the mantelpiece when poking the fire. I don’t think a ‘set’ face would provide encouragement sadly. Nor would oohs and aha in a sarky tone.
I also think her filthy talk puts him off - such as it is.
All the ‘walls’ they talk of. And catching the feels?
I’m wondering if Mark is thinking of razor lined walls and catching something other than feels which has made him soften his outlook.
The mind works in funny ways.
