Anything legal on Corrie (or Emmerdale for that matter) drives me crackers. It is mostly nonsense.

Landlords can evict tenants with no formal paperwork and at a moments notice (this is mostly Kim Tate in Emmerdale but has happened in Corrie as well).

Commercial documents for selling a business is usually two or three sheets of crumpled paper and once they have been signed the buyer can move in straight away.

You are right I remember watching classic Corrie of Someone who kept missing a parcel. There was drama, there was fun, there was suspense!

On the last few months we have had Ray possible being killed. Faye trying attack Ray. Gary going prison for attacking Ray. What’s him face go to court for punching someone. Yasmin Nearely murdered on the roof top. Elaine possible being dead. Jonny owing up to GBH. Ray being thrown in a van and beaten up. Todd nearly beaten up by same guy. I’m sure there’s more!!

I wonder where Kevin would be now if Michael Le Vell hadn’t needed time off for ‘personal reasons’. It’s been confirmed that Sally’s romance with Tim was initially to keep the character occupied until the writers could put her back with Kevin... in the end the pairing worked and it didn’t need to happen. Would they be back together now? Would Tim still even be around?
