I thought exactly the same. Like in the good old days, when Martin was the only nurse ever in the hospital - with whichever character was admitted - maternity one day, A&E the next, then ITU, psych the next!

You can tell how serious the scene is when a close up of Gail shows her, blinking, blinking a lot, blinking very fast. Blinking stupid if you ask me. Her hair was her crowning glory when she was young but now it looks awful.
