Yes Mike reminds me if Anthony. (But just at the dinner parties, all lads together.) I don't like Mike's personality but I do think Heidi is the one who is waiting for it to fail. She is very fragile and is projecting that out. It's a pressure cooker and not a good environment for her. I do feel for her but I also feel Mike is conflicted, he likes her but she maybe scares him with her intensity.

Totally agree that Heidi is expecting it to fail but that’s the point - her gut is telling her that she and Mike are not compatible and yet the ixperts are telling her it’s her fault when really it’s is two people who are not right for each other. That is gaslighting and pretty despicable of the ixperts

Definitely think Mike is all about competition. He was so quick to blurt out about not getting sleep because they’ve been ‘intimate’ every night and so keen to ask others if they had. He has no depth. Heidi needs to trust her gut.

Tamara is the new Branson, sitting there oblivious. How did she think Dan's family were lovely to her? They couldn't have been colder if they were made of ice. They are a perfect match for Jess' family. Imagine her Dad and Dan's mum squaring up.

I have been to Australia several times and have close relatives and friends out there, and so many people out there say how misogynistic and sexist a country it is. Sure that’s a generalisation and not true of everyone obvs but overall it does seem to be quite backwards and old fashioned in terms of the expected roles of men and women. Conservative is how it’s often described to me. My SIL came back last summer from living out there and she said it is quite a racist place also, she pulled a couple of colleagues up on their racist language and said they seemed to have no clue what they’d said was offensive. Again a generalisation but not an unfair one IMHO.

My sister was part of a large group from her uni who took jobs overseas at graduation. A lot of the ones who took jobs in Australia were people from BAME backgrounds. None stayed.

I wondered whether the clothes were supplied by some company .( Like in Love Island). The women all seem to have a penchant for a stretchy dress with a very scoop neckline. Just a coincidence ?

I heard from a previous contestant online that they got paid for every week they stayed. Explains everything!

Also it’s not a legally binding marriage unlike the U.K. version so it’s no wonder half of them don’t take it seriously.

Why are Jess and Mick still there ? I thought if one said leave , then they just got one more week to turn it around and if there was a second week where the same person said leave , then they both left .

Yes I agree. Clever editing maybe. What I find really toxic is that the producers and ixperts know what he’s doing and what Jess has been up to and haven’t acted. That’s dangerous and they’re allowing that behaviour as they did with Sam and Ines and they’re not stepping in . Yet they’re all over Heidi. Not sure how they maintain their professional integrity.

I wish they’d matched Mick with Melissa, I think they could of had a good laugh together
