I also loved both gardens this week. I wonder how much the designers' fees would normally be as I'd love some idea for my garden although I have more of a Joel Bird budget than any of the others could help with.

That acer has inspired me to repot one of my 15 year old pot acers into a flower border. They are about a metre high at the moment but I cant really afford for them to get much bigger than that. Would that be silly?
The red one in that garden was absolutely stunning.
