It’s cold, dark and there’s a pandemic but one bright light is the new series of drag race tomorrow. The last series was so joyful and really put British drag back on the map. I hope this series is just as good

Yes, watched all the American series loved the Canadian series too. Didn’t really get into the Thailand version and haven’t seen the Danish one yet.

I prefer the US version so I'm looking forward to that on Netflix. I did watch the UK one but I just didn't like it as much. I think my sense of humour is very much in line with US drag

So happy it's back. I'm not too happy about it starting off around the same time as the US Drag Race though - takes me a couple of episodes to learn the queens names, I'll be confused Especially when they're out of drag.

I hate drag.
We quite rightly would call out a show of white people dressing up and acting like black people or Asian people and taking the piss out of them oh sorry, it's making comedy, so why is this okay?

I am late to the party and have only started watching the first series and love it so going to finish that (already 6 episodes in) before starting on the new one

You what? You posted this on AIBU so when someone posts that they consider you are being unreasonable and why, you can hardly berate them for having a differing opinion. I agree, if anyone can explain to me why the exaggerated characterisation of women by men is less offensive than white people characterising black people in an exaggerated manner, I'd love to hear it.

The series get better, series 1 and 2 are probably the weakest so if you are enjoying series 1 then you’ve got some really great series coming up

Fairly new here, didn’t realise there was a tv specific place. Will see about getting it moved as I can’t be bothered with posters looking for a fight as they are bored - if it’s not for you why not just ignore/disregard?
