It’s cold, dark and there’s a pandemic but one bright light is the new series of drag race tomorrow. The last series was so joyful and really put British drag back on the map. I hope this series is just as good Already love Ginny Lemon, who are your picks to win

I hadn't noticed the use of pronouns for LC, I assume it's an individual choice.

After Veronica left, Tayce became my favourite as he's hilarious. I can't get enough of his accent either.

Not surprised LC won, as he was clearly Ru's favourite. I thought that on paper, Bimini should have won as they were more of a complete package (comedy, style, choreography etc). LC had his funny moments though. After the drama with LED, I don't think he's a bad apple, just a bit insecure.

Loved Tayce, I want to be their best friend but thought that BBB probably should win. Weird decision but I suppose LC might appeal more to an American market than Bimini.

Dd and I had noticed the pronouns. She thought it might be because Lawrence chose to keep his male name as his drag name.

I never really thought about that. I'd not come across the name Tayce before and wondered if it was Welsh but apparently its a unisex name and has French origins.

I originally loved Veronica and LC, but LC going at LED really put me off him.

I think BBB should have won really. But they'll all do well I'm sure.

I wish someone would explain to me what is entertaining about Ru Paul Drag Race. I just saw a bit on the news and it appeared to be men dressed as women cavorting around, made me think of Ibiza town. Weird.

That’s awful. I saw The Vivienne post about being disappointed at some of the comments on social media and reminding people that it’s just a game so I assume that’s in response to the abuse being levelled at LC

That's not on at all. As much as I didn't like his attitude towards LED, this is taking it to another level.

I agree, completely unnecessary.

This makes me feel slightly better about LC winning, his internet bullies must be gutted.

BBB is such a lovely person. Saw a video clip of her hugging LC. Her Twitter asks for no hate towards LC. They are a lovely group and seem very close. Really to get in the final they’ve all won.

Not really. It's a thread for people who do like the programme to discuss it. I don't go on Corrie threads and ask why people watch this crap. Or on threads about real crime docs and ask why people enjoy watching such awful events. I just see the title and think - that's not for me and move on.

When so many of the contestants are open about the bullying they’ve endured for being gay/queer/a drag queen and the effects it’s had, who the fuck watches Drag Race and thinks “I know, I’ll send them a message on Twitter saying they should die”?

I come here for my own entertainment, not to instruct other people about theirs. You have an opinion about it, that's fine, go and find other threads and shows that entertain you more!

This. Very disappointing it's turned out this way, though I would rather have seen Bimini win. I thought Lawrence was an interesting character and potentially very funny but didn't quite hit the heights he should have been capable of, while Bimini did. All the final four were very good though and deserve to do well and not cop abuse.

(1) tayce is absolutely stunning in and out of drag
(2) tayce’s dad was in wham?! Whoah
(3) thought BBB would win for totally turning it round in the series
(4) why did ru just hate tayce?! So cold to them
