Bigamy has quite history in Corrie. Poor old Emily was the first victim back in ye olde days.

Then it was the turn of Fred 'Will You Marry Me' Elliot to marry a bigamist. Then Peter's wives Shelley and Lucy had the joy of comparing wedding photos starring the same groom, a few months apart.

Then Sally was dumped with the storyline, though Tim was just being hapless, so that got quietly forgotten.

Now Yasmeen. And possibly Tessa. And who's Christine?

Bigamy is a very rare crime with significant sentences. But strangely rampant on the cobbles and in the Metcalfe family in particular. And so swiftly forgotten.
