Having already been slightly freaked out by The Repair Shop earlier in the evening (DH's favourite programme apart from the footie!) featuring a hideously creepy ventriloquist's dummy, which was only slightly improved by renovation, having another one jump out of a cupboard in Yasmeen's loft sent me scuttling for something to calm my nerves ...

DH loves the Repair Shop - gives me chapter and verse on each episode and the sentimental story behind. He was a bit irritated at some woman who wasn't sufficiently grateful for the work they'd done on a typewriter this week!

The Repair Shop is brilliant!

The skill and patience required would be well beyond me.

I'm very much a "Jack Duckworth Glasses Repair School" of renovation person, myself.

Some of the stories are incredibly moving.
