@Izzy24 - IIRC Kev was trying to warn Abbi that although they'd had a victory that time, Ray is a force to be reckoned with and has a lot of people at his disposal feeding him info. He said something about the brewery's historic contents and they realise it had been discussed between the two of them when they were completely alone ... except for Debbie (who instantly confessed, of course)!

I also think they put a bizarre amount of focus on geoffs magic dolls

Oh God yes, I'm am only watching it out of habit now. I used to really enjoy it What on earth are they doing to it? I want them to bring back the stories we can relate to, it's too Eastenderish now.

I couldn’t watch the protests it’s so cringe worthy.
Last night was just completely ridiculous.

Yes, I blinked and missed how Annie Lennox got rumbled. They really could've made that bit more interesting because it was quite important in the whole story. She was in on Ray and what he was doing, and had had a relationship with him, etc.
They just could have stretched that out a bit with Kevin slowly putting two and two together.
As it was, I just blinked and missed it!

Indeed, they were trying to creep us out and build the tension. It didn't work.
Maybe Abi will rescue Yasmeen with the crane - Yasmeen can leap into it - miss and fall on Emily chicken. Hoping they leave Alya up there.

The only possible reason I can think of for Alya ending up on the roof is if she's going to fall off as well, are they writing her out? She can't act so they might be!
The most baffling thing that struck me last night was if I ended up on a roof fearful for my life, I wouldn't dangle like a sodding wet sock like they were all doing, I'd be sat on the very top legs either side surely that's safer?

I was amazed that Geoff would be dead after sliding, feet first, off the roof?! Surely he'd break stuff rather than die?!! Loved the chucks wandering around him . I hoped they were going to start pecking..

I did wonder, had we ever seen that Yasmeen had a loft conversion before, or was it conveniently invented this week so that there would be a window in the roof? Like years ago when the stairs mysteriously changed sides in Ashley and Claire’s house a week before a big fire?

We only saw the roof space last week when aliyah and Tim went to Geoffs to have a snoop thinking Geoff was hiding Elaine. No idea why aliyah would snoop in the roof space- But she was hoking through boxes. Is Elaine very small?

Yep, completely agree. Last week Kev thought Abi was back on the drugs - this week she says ‘I bet it was Debbie all along’ and, without so much as a look of shock at the very idea, Kev stormed over to her and Debbie doesn’t even bother trying to deny it. Months of lying and covering her tracks, only to hold her hands up and say ‘It’s a fair cop guv, I’ll come quietly’.

I’m hoping Annie Lennox will go skulking back to droopy Bollox and catch him leering and groping Faye.

Like so many others I want to know how Alya got through the burning house which at one point looked like it was burning down but the next minute no smoke to be seen anywhere, why didn't she call the police when she woke up from being knocked out.

I wanted Ryan to be a roof climber, and Craig to rescue Faye.
And Dr Ali to have a shower, perhaps he could get a public health job and vaccinate everyone.

My dh had to watch last night, he is caught up in it.
