Bit sad about the lack of over 45s tennis- I mean Roger is 40 this year and will be in the main draw .

I haven’t seen Raonic’s new hair - I was going to google it and started typing wreck it Ralph . He said that he hasn’t been able to have his hair cut because of lockdown but surely hairdressers have been open some of the time?

Today I had my cataract lasered and booked my COVID jabs - it’s the great being old Even worse now that my vision is clearer I can see what I really look like in the mirror

I've had both my lenses replaced. I am the bionic woman. Very slow vaccine roil out here.

I had my vaccine yesterday, as did DH.

Guess which one of us is experiencing more negative side effects (allegedly)?

kazza that sounds like dh. We had our's 3 weeks ago. I hid the leaflet listing the possible side effects in the end, because if he had read it, he would have had all of them.

I swear, if somone had told him he would get severe pain in his big toe, he would definitely have got severe pain in his big toe. .

I was ridiculously happy that I got a sticker. But I am an over grown child. .

at mardy DHs - my arm is usually really sore after my flu jab so I’ll probably be the mardy one here!

My jab is next Friday - I hope I get a sticker! There weren’t any slots at our local centre so I’ve got to drive out to a parish hall somewhere - maybe they’ll give me a cup of tea

Fizzy my arm doesn't usually hurt with the normal flu jab- but I was in agony after the pneumonia one. Couldn't move it for about 24 hours.

I had my jab at the big hub near the city centre- there was quite a low uptake at the time, and there seemed to be more staff milling about than people being vaccinated. It is a bit of an awkward place to get to. Very organised though -and I got my date for the second one.

Re the stickers, my comment to DH was firstly, how much is that costing (whoever) to make all these blinking stickers secondly, that's now someone else who has unnecessarily come within 2m of me, him and everyone else by sticking it on my top before I knew what was happening, as I was exiting the hall

I am still sad that Rafa won't be in Miami- I really hope Daniil- or anyone! can step up and make sure it isn't just another tournament for Djok to fake injury waltz through.

I think Covid vaccinations should be come mandatory for tournament participation (just for him).

Dom isn't playing Miami either, which is a bit of a blow.

I've just read Djok has withdrawn from Miami! That puts a whole new spin on the tournament, even without Rafa, it could actually be quite interesting now!

I was just reading about that. So Medvedev will be the top men's seed - think he's playing anyway?! I don't actually know tbh.

Miami is suddenly looking a whole lot more appealing. Still sad about Rafa and Dom- but no Djok, Roger, Serena or Kyrgios.
