New ’un.

Whose turn on the storyline merry-go-round will it be this week?

OP posts:
woodhill · 13/11/2020 10:17

Yes, it would be good to have a scene with him at the hospital but perhaps the actors are in bubbles?

woodhill · 13/11/2020 13:06

Karl has sussed her out, Nicolette is so rude. Where is Mr Stone, I wonder, he is never referred to

woodhill · 13/11/2020 13:07

Sorry wrong thread

eggandonion · 13/11/2020 13:40

Toyah is a trained counsellor so is non judgemental. She just sits there.
It is difficult, I think everyone tends to support the mother in tough situations.
I just don't think corrie is up to examining the themes. Surely fizz would be emotional about it.

NCTDN · 13/11/2020 16:55

I think Steve is right for this role. The way he read that book the other night was some of his best acting!
Kate Ford definitely puts the orders to shame with her acting though. I quite like Tracy now!

wizzbangfizz · 13/11/2020 19:43

God depressing Sad

Roussette · 13/11/2020 19:45

Do they honestly get a court judgement so quick?

TheFormerPorpentinaScamander · 13/11/2020 19:48

What did Steve over hear outside the hospital? Something about treating kids who need it? I didn't quite catch it and can't rewind it.

excelledyourself · 13/11/2020 19:51

I had no idea that there was a tube station round that way!

wizzbangfizz · 13/11/2020 19:52

There was another parent complaining that their child wasn't being treated because the dr was in court giving evidence for a child who couldn't be treated and that the parents were selfish

Smallsteps88 · 13/11/2020 19:54

this is awful. who is this storyline for? who wants to see this storyline?

and no one can even hug each other? its so wrong.

wizzbangfizz · 13/11/2020 19:56

It is very badly timed for a whole host of reasons Sad

Smallsteps88 · 13/11/2020 19:58

they should have cut this story as soon as the pandemic hit due to the impossibility of anyone being able to offer comfort to leanne and steve. its so unnattural.

TheFormerPorpentinaScamander · 13/11/2020 19:59

This is awful.

TheFormerPorpentinaScamander · 13/11/2020 20:02

@wizzbangfizz

There was another parent complaining that their child wasn't being treated because the dr was in court giving evidence for a child who couldn't be treated and that the parents were selfish
Ah thanks. Would they really have told parents where the dr was. Surely they'd just say he was indisposed?

@Smallsteps88 I disagree. Its meant to be realistic and in real life he would still be dying and the court case would still be happening.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 13/11/2020 20:04

@Smallsteps88

they should have cut this story as soon as the pandemic hit due to the impossibility of anyone being able to offer comfort to leanne and steve. its so unnattural.
And due to the real life possibility of someone with a terminally ill child who wasn't able to even go in and hold their hand.
zukiecat · 13/11/2020 20:04

Sarah lost Billy too, he's never been mentioned in this storyline.

Kevin also seems to forget that his baby with Alison died too.

MrDarcysMa · 13/11/2020 20:05

This is so sad.
I know it's a toddler acting but would a kid in a coma be blinking so much?

nildesparandum · 13/11/2020 20:07

I have yet to see Billy do anything I would describe as being a priest of any Christian denomination. He just swans around in a different coloured clerical shirt in nearly every scene and eyes up available men.
That scene with the Bishop is just unbelievable.

Roussette · 13/11/2020 20:09

This is not bad acting, I just find it ummm don't know what to say

Smallsteps88 · 13/11/2020 20:10

And due to the real life possibility of someone with a terminally ill child who wasn't able to even go in and hold their hand.

yes. oh there's just so many reasons they should have pulled this story.

I disagree. Its meant to be realistic and in real life he would still be dying and the court case would still be happening.

in real life nick, leanne, steve, toyah, gail, sarah would all be able to hug each other.

Smallsteps88 · 13/11/2020 20:11

also tracey, emma, simon, amy too.

Roussette · 13/11/2020 20:12

Now this is REALLY weird.

Oliver was not in the bed when Leanne came back, just a stuffed toy

Smallsteps88 · 13/11/2020 20:13

@Roussette

yep and just again then too. hes hiding behind the machines.
Roussette · 13/11/2020 20:14

Wrong camera!
