Old thread full, so here we go again.

Going back to the last point on the old thread, I agree that they’re writing well for Tracy now. She’s still got her hard side, but they’ve made her caring in a straight talking way, rather than just a full-on bitch.

My dd2 is fascinated with Debbie's multiple layers. DD2 is working from home, mostly in pyjama bottoms and a nice top, covered by a huge cardigan. If she dressed like Debbie she'd set fire to herself on the heater she huddles over.
Nobody on Corrie is working from home in pyjamas.
I wish Dev's dd Amber would arrive and help him with the kids. She was a bit naughty I think? She may have gone to uni.

Sean is past his sell by and that awful leopard sleeve jumper

Maybe he could go and live with Violet. Or visit her for a long time. What does he spend his money on? He could eat hotpot every day, does he still have the secret recipe? Does he send all his money to Violet?

I didn't see the second episode last night as Mr Schaden was engrossed in something else by then (The Mallorca Files, I think it was called - quite good for escapist stuff, I thought)

I'm quite enjoying working out who is who. . .

Agree about Dev shouting in the street, utterly ridiculous

I hated the dev shouting in the street bit, he literally yelled ‘going on THE PILL!’

Also with the Debbie walking bit, I felt they filmed her walking up the street and also walking into the bistro for an unnecessarily long time. I don’t need to see her walk the entire length of the bistro

Sean does send money to Violet. When he had his homeless storyline he was talking about how he couldn’t afford to pay her

How did he end up having a son? Sean must be 40 at least so can’t have been fling with a girl when he was 16.

He was essentially a sperm donor for Violet. Then he got too involved for her liking, so she did a bunk to ‘that London’ with her ex.

I'm still pissed off that Sean didn't die when he was homeless on the red rec.

Steve is giving me major fanny gallops with how lovely he's been with Emma lately.

Sperm donor as in sex or turkey baster? Still doesn’t explain why he is so broke. What a life works two jobs lives in spare bedroom at his age with no security and no spare cash.

From memory they tried to have sex and it wasn’t a great success (i.e. he couldn’t get it up) and they went down the turkey baster route.

I didn't know who he was even as I was watching it. Obviously someone really important

I had totally forgotten about Amber!

I really hope Dev’s bomber jacket is getting a mention on the credits seeing as it’s out-acting him in every scene.

It’s all just more filler crap to save them writing Anything decent. 30 seconds of Debbie walking is 30 less seconds of dialogue they have to write. Lazy gits.

I’ve also noticed the closing credits music sometimes starts while someone is still speaking. It feels very rushed.
