Going back to the last point on the old thread, I agree that they’re writing well for Tracy now. She’s still got her hard side, but they’ve made her caring in a straight talking way, rather than just a full-on bitch.

Is the lass working in the pub Steve's daughter with Fiona the hairdresser? Was she another unknown relative who has appeared out of the blue?

Why is David's girlfriend "not supposed to be drinking"?

How is everybody in the pub without face masks - even the staff ? (Roy just put his mask on to go out, but doesn't wear one in his cafe.)

General comments:

Gail still looks like a dyspeptic camel

Kevin looks like he's slept in a skip even when he has a suit and tie on

Eileen looks EXACTLY THE SAME as she did ten years ago . . . Todd, however, is an entirely different actor.

Tim's horrible Dad (Geoff) is married to the Grandma. He was abusive and she snapped and bottled him.

Tyrones been around forever. Don't think he's had a new head. He lived with the Duckworths and now lives in their house with Fiz and their invisible children. Works at (or maybe part owns?) the garage.

Debbie/Sally scenes are cringe-worthy.

I needed cheering up and this is all just terrible. Badly acted, over acted, awkwardly acted ... Even Ian Bartholomew can't rescue this writing and direction.

It seems to have lost the humour it used to have - and also was very well acted - most of these seem wooden .
