I thought tonight was very predictable. I (and I bet everyone) knew those 4 would go. I think the only surprise was Telv's flowers and the fact Ash stayed (why????)

I think a missed match was Alycia and Justin, they really would have had a much better shot (I think).

Charlene is getting on my nerves now. OK, so she stood up to the boys (MEN) but she's not treating Patrick very nicely and he's lovely.

Rather worried about Telv saying the atmosphere at the dinner party for family made him feel the most embarrassed he had ever felt in his life. I can kind of understand though. You don't do your dirty washing in front of relatives who have huge effort to visit you - how rude to put them through that. Sarah's behaviour has sadly put the nail in the coffin and Telv will not want to commit longterm now. He will probably say yes at final commitment but the gradually back away. Shame because I feel he could easily have made up with her earlier before the relatives arrived if he had just talked to her, got the the bottom of her concerns, and reassured her. I thought she was being a bit possessive and over the top though.

Melissa seems to be very positive about her feelings for John. John is more reserved. Perhaps he doesn't quite believe her so won't let himself be vulnerable. He also doesn't want to move. She is lovely but seems a little too fancy for John who seems a move run-of-the-mill everyday type of bloke.

Ashley and Troy. Not going to work. On wedding day he seemed more interested in MIL rather than Ashley. That feeling has changed now but would always grate a bit. They are the comedy couple.

Charlene and Patrick won't work because she wants someone more dynamic and he won't want to displease his Mum in any way.

Dean and Tracy? No comment needed. Don't really understand why he put leave first week though. Scripted for drama perhaps ? Or maybe to send green light to DaviNO ?

Well, I'm in a right old mess here.
I started watching season 4 late in the series then found the thread and managed to get up to speed. (but had to use the excuse of getting up in the night to use the loo to cram 3 episodes at a time then sneak back into bed.) I left starting S5 too late in the day (with one thing and another) now I am trying frantically to catch up. I have got threads loose and unravelling all over the place, I am up to episode 12, thumbface is still called thumbface but by now is probably called thugface. Him and super ugly DaviNO havent DTD (yet) and nobody has left (yet). Has child of Paul Young revealed his big secret? (Is there one?) This thread in itself could reveal lots if spoilers, I am panicking now because I fear I won't catch up in time for the last episode. HELP!!!!!

Don’t think “child of Paul Young” aka Lady Sean revealed anything very exciting, just that he had lots of sexual partners in the past, which we already knew and that he finds it difficult to open up. Earth shattering news it was not.

I’m in. I’ve watched series 3-7 of the Australian one now and need something new.

I am surprised that Justin is disliked so much by so many people .

He doesn’t really have a strong enough character to be hated with a passion .

We don’t know much about what makes him tick apart from the opening sequence when he was given his ‘James Bond’ persona along with what proved to be a nonexistent boat , car or office of thousands of workers .

He doesn’t say much and when he does he’s almost monosyllabic . Carly has sweated blood and tears and pressed him as far as she possibly could without actually physically torturing him , yet he just sits there looking into the distance with glazed eyes . Cold and unresponsive.

He’s probably just as unremarkable as the young “200 times a night“ Sean who most people have dismissed and forgotten .

He’s reasonably inoffensive so why the dislike ?
