I learned through bitter experience, Glummy - and I still frequently bollix it up.

I think, and have always thought, Troy is revolting. She did well to stick by him. I actually found him quite predatory. I hate that when they had their final date he launched himself at Ash and sulked when she said no. Also on their honeymoon, what made her say "dude you're coming on too strong" was the fact that she looked away and he grabbed her face and practically swallowed her head.

It annoys me they painted Ash to be unreasonable for being this way. And it annoys me that her sister has said she has to go for a nice guy like Ash is some over the hill desperado. She can do FAR better than Troy

I always felt that he deliberately pushed he to her limit, and then when she finally lost her temper he turned round looking like a kicked puppy with big sad eyes "What have I done? I was only joking/ being nice/ trying to be romantic"

I'm glad she dumped him - I was worried that she wouldn't - especially after his (rather nasty, I thought) letter to her.

I don't think expected her to reciprocate in kind though . . . in fact, I wondered if she added the last bit in the light of his decision, and she had originally intended to stay with him?
