I really mean this earnestly but, if I may ask, what do you like about Troy? From start to now I’ve not liked him - the other MAFS participants obviously also like him and so I’m genuinely curious to learn what people see that I don’t

Ok, I really like his physical style (floppy hair, tall slim build, dress sense) and I like that he is prepared to look silly (a lot.) He laughs at himself and accepts people poking fun at him.
I find his uselessness quite endearing, but the fact he's in a reasonably responsible job means he has to have some social skills and intelligence.
I've thought from the start that both he and Ashley are both really nice people, but completely mismatched and that Troy needs a more mature home counties type to guide him through a relationship.
I also think that both of them know it's not going to work and are just playing to the camera for laughs/drama.
Of course, I'm going to look stupid if he's exposed to be nasty, but I just don't see malice in him like I do in Nasser for example.
I adore this programme but think they need dramatic storylines for each series:
Dean&Tracey - the cheating triangle.
Gabrielle&Nasser - sad lady looking for a kind guy/truly cruel man.
Troy&Ashley - dramatic silly bust ups/comedy element.
That's just how I see it. I know I'm in the minority on this one, which is one of the reasons I love this thread - folks can have different opinions and they are all funny, thoughtful, interesting observations ♥️
