First her account of what he said included loads of stuff not shown in the clip, where he was slagging her off, which he hasn’t disagreed with.

However, like the Other, he isn't nearly as stupid as he pretends, and has a streak of cruelty and misogyny a mile wide that he is cleverly exploiting, going back to the "I really don't understand what I've done . . . I was so nice to her . . . she treats me so badly . . . what have I done wrong?" every time it looks as though he is going to get called out on it.

I’m hoping I’ve misheard, but that sounds like his true self coming out, and then his weird begging her to come back was all orchestrated by the crew.

I like Ash a lot. She’s feisty and competitive and stunning. I wonder if she’s single because Australian men are dicks?

Re Ashley’s account of what Troy said to her , including loads of stuff not shown in the clip . I’ve been wondering about that for ages . As far as I can make out Troy only mentioned possibly discussing sex with Ash . In the context of the programme about marrying I didn’t think that was too far out .

Yes Troy definitely asked the crew , “ can you sort that out “ ? I wondered what the crew was supposed to do ? Ramp up the agro or tell Ash she was over reacting . I think editing/post production leaves a lot to be desired .

I like Ashley's parents much more than I like Ashley.

Tracey’s behaviour makes a lot more sense when you see her parents, both biological and adopted.

I read Nasser’s open letter that was posted up-thread. Now we know he’s the devil I don’t think it’s breaking the rules to talk about his reference to Gab’s wig and implication that’s why he didn’t want to sleep with her?! Poor woman deserved so much better. The one saving grace is, like everyone, I feel validated in my gut instincts.

@Verdita73 I had to get my post with Nasser’s letter deleted as there was a slight spoiler about his bride’s home stay. It was basically a warning to future contestants that they will be portrayed in a certain light at the whim of the producers iirc.

Me too! Although I do enjoy the Troy/Ashley comedy duo, like them both individually but not in a million years together as a couple. I just can't take it seriously, as I feel they are both playing to camera.

I don’t think this would be a “spoiler” to say he’s a complete and utter narcissist. I can’t imagine why it took Gabrielle so long to pick up on the signs - especially as the more astute members of this thread were hollering so loudly at the TV . I’m afraid that I was taken in at the beginning .

I do hope there aren’t still people who think he’s a rough diamond just waiting to be ‘crafted’ by true love .

@pastapestoparmesan. Justin has an ex wife and 2 kids so although it’s possible he is a virgin it seems unlikely. I think the people upthread saying he went on the show for publicity for his Mr Whippy business and actually has a secret girlfriend are closer to the mark.

She was really prepared to give him a real chance as well - she didn't;t look at him and mumble *Oh sh!t". And she is a much more attractive woman than he is man.
