@Sertchgi123

I’m sorry but I have to return my Troy badge after watching that. But I’m keeping my badger badge. 🦡

Well done Sarah for setting him straight. I’m in love with Charlene 😍, what a woman!

Please just put your Troybadge in the skip with all the others.

Badge badges are increasing in value exponentially as demand soars.

Tee-shirts will soon be available with "Badgers always have your Back" on the front Grin and the named badger of your choice on the back (Margot, Bunty, Brock or Barbara) Other names available as special orders for a small personalisation fee, though if there is enough demand we will be adding "Charlene" and "Patrick" to the list of regular badger names.

Free clicky pen ("Badgers - the Write Way To Go") with every order.

I don’t think no-boat , no-office , no-car , loves-lacy-knickers Justin is a millionaire
I think he’s beginning to regret the opening ‘millionaire extravaganza‘ to his entrance on the programme and is now worried that the Australian equivalent of the HMRC is watching . That’s why he keeps wittering on about having ‘nothing’

You might be on to something there Verdita

Anyone else think that Telv would have been a better match with Charlene, and Patrick with Sarah.

Telv has that more manly edge that Charlene finds attractive and Patric and Sarah both like talking about their feeling and being emotional.

Frazzled2207 · 10/09/2020 23:07

Also passing back my Troy badge. He should have stood up for the girls more, he didn’t really have anything to hide.
Ash was super annoying and has given up on him I think. I know the whole coeliac thing was really crappy of Troy but she retold the story in a “omg you would not believe how much of an idiot my husband is” sort of way rather than a jokey way

I love Charlene but not convinced it was right for her to have a go at the lads given that she didn’t hear any of it. What they said was obviously disrespectful but it’s more the tone of what was said than the actual words.

Justin is a total prick.

Wonder why Telv didn’t have anything to say.

Colouringaddict · 11/09/2020 04:44

As much as I like Patrick, he hid behind Charlene, he only pulled Telv to one side last night, but he was the most honest to his wife. He loaded the gun and left her to fire it.
I think Dean wasn’t offering Tracey out, but he likes to think he is the alpha with a stunning wife that every man wants, was a massive kick to his ego when the other guys didn’t all raise their hands and get in a Tracey queue.
So glad that Sarah muted Troy, I really hopes he takes her advice on board, but I don’t think he will

Yes yes yes @Verdita73 I think you’ve nailed it.

Justin is the complete package of no-personality, no passion, no interest in Carly, alongside being a wheeler-dealer loser when it comes to business.

I had an ex who used to say he was a feminist - he thought if you said it you were a good person and so you didn’t have to actually act like it.

Thumbface is a feminist for the sexual emancipation side (though girls who sleep around are obviously sluts, but still). He was shocked that a mere woman would call him out on his actions.

Troy is a prat. Sarah did good with her forceful advice

@NowYouListenToMeFella flogging a sea horse is my new favourite expression Grin

cerealkillah · 11/09/2020 07:18

I am also returning my Troy badge. He disappointed me last night. I would be interested in a Charlene t-shirt though.
I'm actually beginning to find this series very staged and fake now. Not that it'll stop me watching it. Patrick and Charlene and John and Melissa are the only genuine ones.
Thumbface just makes me angry. And so does Tracy for staying with him. I can only assume she's desperate to be "loved".
Does anyone else have the voices of the experts in their heads? My 16 year old DD and I do. We frequently channel our inner John for advice on day to day things.

@cerealkillah that sounds very dangerous to me. Do you find yourselves advising boot camps when you have arguments? Are you made to look at photos of yourselves laughing together from two weeks earlier to reform your bond? Do you constantly point out when someone is demonstrating how they have someone else’s back or how this action would be interpreted as a betrayal?

Damnit... I think I might already have an inner John and have just not noticed it.

RinderTinderNotRinderGrinder · 11/09/2020 07:29

And I want my Charlene t-shirt to be a Charlene wedding dress

bibliomania · 11/09/2020 07:58

Agree with you Lewis about Tracy being vulnerable. Although if it was agreed between her and her ex that the DD live with him, that doesn't mean that she failed to meet some threshold. I think he's settled with a new wife and siblings, and there's nothing inherently wrong if everyone agreed that it was the best set up for the DD.

bibliomania · 11/09/2020 07:59

Amused that Trish was shocked her see therapy had failed. "They thanked me for coming!"

FuzzyPuffling · 11/09/2020 08:18

In between your lovely and interesting posts I am now getting a rather splendid advert from "anorak", of a "kissing badger sweatshirt" and a "badger doormat". Both rather fetching. Anyone else?

bibliomania · 11/09/2020 08:20

No Badgers here. Disappointed.

Eaumyword · 11/09/2020 08:34

No badgers here either, but someone posted a picture a while back of a badger dress and I adore it.
So, who's leaving tonight?
My guess is Tracey&Dean, Gabrielle&Nasser, Troy&Ashley and obviously Justin&Carly* definitely a sea horse flogged to death there and gasping its last on the floor!

InfiniteSheldon · 11/09/2020 08:36

Tracey is never gonna give up on her man

cerealkillah · 11/09/2020 08:36

@RinderTinderNotRinderGrinder we find John tends to advise us on every day things, such as what to have for tea - "I really loik the balance between the fish and the chips there, this is a good solid foundation for a healthy dinner".

Thecobwebsarewinning · 11/09/2020 08:40

I am also a ‘relationship expert’ - Honest! I have diplomas and degrees and everything! I can tell from some of the things John says that he has trained in an excellent style of couples therapy called Emotionally Focussed Therapy (EFT). I’ve trained in this too , although I didn’t practice it professionally for very long, and it can be very effective in resolving deep seated relationship problems. What it can’t do (IMO) is somehow create a relationship between two strangers with no spark, or history. Ditto Trish’s sex therapy techniques - you can help couples fix sexual problems but you can’t create attraction.

They must be paying these people a fortune for them to misuse their professional skills in such a very unprofessional way.

Incidentally, I Googled John to check the spelling of his name before I posted this - he was once a pretty good professional cricketer. Nice looking man, good at sport but not a great therapist.

Yes that badger dress is adorable but don’t tell anyone, especially style and beauty.
RinderTinderNotRinderGrinder · 11/09/2020 08:45

@cerealkillah, that sounds good and constructive. You should lock that tea in.

@Thecobwebsarewinning I couldn’t agree more! It’s ridiculous using techniques based on working through issues between long-standing partners to try to create relationships. Having sex therapy to create intimacy between people who are clearly trying to force it feels immoral.

They would have been better off doing a course in mutual massage or having to spend some time face to face holding hands, or anything other than trying to sex things up. If you can’t hold hands what on Earth is lingerie going to do to help?!

RinderTinderNotRinderGrinder · 11/09/2020 08:46

(I have a badger duvet cover on my bed at the moment... does that mean I win or lose?)

RinderTinderNotRinderGrinder · 11/09/2020 08:49

It’s not the most chic of covers, but I do like it. Dh asked what I was laughing at on here last night, and I mentioned the badger badges. He looked pointedly at the covers and said, “That thread is clearly meant to be.” I hadn’t even noticed Grin

MAFS - Strictly Come DARVO - who will be gaslighting who tonight?
Eaumyword · 11/09/2020 08:57

It means you are covered in Margots, Brocks, Buntys and Barbaras all the time Rinder. That's definitely a win!
You know what, I'm sticking to my guns that Tracey will kick Dean to the curb tonight. I agree with pp that she is quite vulnerable and has clung to him like a barnacle, but surely she can't ignore so many concerns?
I know this is just a daft programme, but Dean has helpfully given her a preview of what it would be like to actually be with him. A personal hell of doubting yourself, constantly wondering where he is, who he's with and what he's thinking. Never treating yourself with food, in case you 'let yourself go', then "deserved it" if he went off with someone else. Always wearing makeup and worying about your appearance.
Fuck all that! Hope she thinks the same!

YourVagesty · 11/09/2020 09:09

Next time somebody makes a thread, can we have the words 'Sixty tixting' in the title please? Grin

Also, how awful is it for Tracey that not only did TF offer her up, but shes had to sit there and hear across the dinner table, from multiple people, that nobody wanted her Confused

RinderTinderNotRinderGrinder · 11/09/2020 09:12

Eau I really hope you’re right. She is definitely vulnerable and insecure. She’s so desperate to be loved and seen as strong but everything she has done has been what Dean wanted.

She will live the life of the cheated on partner, always suspicious and worried he’ll do something. It will eat her from the inside out. I really really hope she says leave. I suspect she might and he will say stay and she’ll have to stay and then she’ll forgive him (because she’s SOOO strong) and the cycle will repeat.

It’s hard watching someone repeatedly make the same mistakes. Look how bored we got with DaviNA being brought up by them? That was only for a couple of weeks after it happened, barely enough time to process the betrayal let alone get over it, but even we were echoing Thumbface with his “stop talking about it over and over again”.
