I have requested that we petition the channel to show series 6 when this one is finished - however many are bored with suffering the adverts . I agree .
Maybe we could decide when to watch , online , series 6 , one a night , then give ourselves time to produce a thread to keep ourselves amused . Now that Christmas appears to be fading .

Given that we think the whole thing is scripted do the producers choose how Dean , Troy , Nasser , and Justin are going to behave ? Do they just act naturally according to their own characters or are they told ; Dean , you’re going to be an a—-h—- along with Nasser ? Justin you’re going to dress up in women’s lingerie and Troy you have to be a foppish schoolboy with a maniacal laugh ?

Has anyone watched UnReal? It’s a drama about the producers behind a show that’s basically The Bachelor and how they manipulate everything- it’s fictional but the main writer/producer was actually a producer on The Bachelor so I feel like it’s a pretty good insight (if overexaggerated) into how producers on these sorts of shows make things happen without explicitly scripting it.

This sounds just the sort of thing we should watch . It would hone our critical faculties even more . Though they are pretty well up there with most TV critics shallow offerings .

Can you give us the details , channel , online source etc ?

Do you think Dean and maybe Nasser could suffer in a similar way at the end of this ?

I do think everyone involved is utterly deluded about how they will come across. I can see how they’ve been fed leading questions to get them to say certain things, but if you don’t think something you can’t be forced to say it. I think everyone is really naive about the affect it will have on their lives. I even feel for the baddies

I have relatives who moved to Australia, and when I went to visit them they were very vocal about how sexist and backwards the Australian men are, and that wasn't just the women saying that 😁

I agree re Troy at the boys night. For me he seemed totally fine with it and whilst he didn't really join in that much he just seemed so ok with it. I quite liked him till then!

He seemed quite flattered that Justin fancied Ash and rather than saying oi that's my wife you're talking about, he just seem to agreed that she was hot. He was probably thinking, not as hot as her Mum though.

I certainly hope UnReal is exaggerated - it paints a rather dark view of humanity!

I can't wait for you all to get to the penultimate episode. May watch again 'with' you. My jaw was hanging open in amazement!

I spent a year there and thought the exact same. A big sweeping generalisation on all Aussie men but most that I met we're like that.

I agree re: duty of care - there are some very vulnerable people, particularly women, on here.

I think Abandrew is just attention-seeking TBH, and that neither Nasser nor Thumbface would suffer from anything other than rage caused by hurt pride.

Tracey was hunks signing a card "love Dean" means he's in love with her. The silly woman. A shop bought cake and a card? Some women really do have low standards
