Badgers are hard to please at the best of times . . . denied their favourite eggs . . . scrambled, poached, boiled, coddled, fried, en cocotte, omelette, frittata, quiche . . . they become enraged to the point of homicide.

The TV audience votes on which of the arrogant psychos gets thrown into the badger pit each week.

(Don't worry! They all get what's coming to them eventually. )

The badgers are rewarded with an eggstravaganza of their favourite foods at the end of the series.

While I agree that is my first instinct . . . would it not be better to keep him and the Crappy Rapper for last, and with them sweat and try to talk their way out of it?

Every week we could have a guest mustelid to nibble round the edges of the remaining "experimental subjects" and let them have a glimpse of what lies ahead . . .

. . . or do that door puzzle thing with badgers behind two doors and (say_ a pack of rabid mink behind the third? Watching that would go some way to compensate me for not winning a goat.
