What a pointless meeting. They could have done that in 3 minutes via teams or zoom.

JamieLeeCurtains · 30/09/2020 19:59

Does Wetherfield have a different set of laws and police guidelines than the rest of the country, for, well, pretty much everything?

yourhairiswinterfire · 30/09/2020 20:04

So the coppers just left the kidnapped child with a man who they didn't know? Shock A man that was walking along with a kidnapper, who could be in on it with him, and could now do a runner with the child himself Confused

JamieLeeCurtains · 30/09/2020 20:12

It is truly woeful.

I wonder if the writers are doing it for a bet, to see who can write the shittest, most unrealistic scene involving the police?

JamieLeeCurtains · 30/09/2020 20:14

And as for Nina's knickers. Don't even get me started.

Roussette · 30/09/2020 20:19

I had it on in the background as my DD rang, (I was waching for Geoff!) but I got the gist and I suppose this week is 'kidnapping' story that will be forgotten by Friday Shock

I presume the interns are at it again...

eddiemairswife · 30/09/2020 20:37

In a real-life situation wouldn't there be a woman PC or a social worker who would take the baby until the case was resolved? I wonder if the writers are very young, and have little knowledge about anything really.

Smallsteps88 · 30/09/2020 20:39

So nick plans to sell his share in the factory (who holds the other shares?) and Steve plans to sell the taxi rank, the flat and the flower shop. Will there be any businesses left in the street?

woodhill · 30/09/2020 20:39

Like improvised rubbish, socially distance scenes with backs of heads

Smallsteps88 · 30/09/2020 20:40

And what will nick, Steve, tim, Tracey and Mary do for a living with no business and no money?

excelledyourself · 30/09/2020 20:40

That was painful viewing. But, Grace can't be sticking around now, surely? So worth it 👍

Roussette · 30/09/2020 20:41

So Grace has been making it all up and isn't a mother, and isn't going to Spain, and and and..

this is seriously ridiculous. They are throwing everything they can at every episode of corrie so that my head's in a spin and I don't care a fig about the outcome of anything.

Smallsteps88 · 30/09/2020 20:44

I have zero interest in Michaels story. He’s such a terrible speaker I can barely make out what he’s saying half the time.

excelledyourself · 30/09/2020 20:44

If this is the outcome, the whole storyline makes no sense.

Grace acted like she couldn't stand Michael. Tried to get shot of him for long enough at the start, I thought. So what on Earth did she hope to achieve pretending Tianna was his/her daughter?

eggandonion · 30/09/2020 20:46

Poor Michael and the nanny from hell. I'm devastated.

Roussette · 30/09/2020 20:46

Go this is pathetic. It won't be mentioned again after 9pm tonight. A whizz bang story that becomes history just like the sinkhole.

FeltCarrot · 30/09/2020 20:46

How old is Tirana meant to be? She looked like a baby in tonight’s episode, surely she would be a toddler by now?

Roussette · 30/09/2020 20:46

p.s. Adam's hair is a dark version of Gail's hair.
Identical

FeltCarrot · 30/09/2020 20:47
  • Tianna
Roussette · 30/09/2020 20:48

It needs cutting!

Smallsteps88 · 30/09/2020 20:48

Yeah it makes no sense. At the start he spotted her getting into a car and he approached her, she didn’t come to find him. She tried to get away from him, she drove off and he saw the baby. Why on earth would she then lie about the baby being his to have some sort of connection to him?

augustusglupe · 30/09/2020 20:59

I actually think the Michael actor has potential, I believed him tonight tbh. But bloody hard work trying to learn acting with Aggie dad/other son.

eggandonion · 30/09/2020 21:12

What was Adam up to? I took the dog out and couldn't understand what he had done. Is bistro man taking over the world?

TheFormerPorpentinaScamander · 30/09/2020 22:01

Was tonight's episode written by teenage interns who suddenly found out they were allowed to mention sex?

eggandonion · 30/09/2020 22:09

I don't like sex on Corrie. Normal People it's fine, not on Corrie.
