The whole Geoff / Alya thing has become extremely painful to watch owing to the fact that (a) Alya actor can't really act, and (b) the writers aren't doing her any favours.

My favourite storyline is getting a bit painful. i.e. Geoff/Yasmeen and Aliya etc.
It's just being dragged out.

The scenes with Alya and Geoff are really pantomimey aren't they, both really ott and embarrassingly overacting.

Apparently councils try to get it sorted in 4 weeks.. so Geoff will have his on Wednesday, Friday at the outside. 👍

Did anyone else notice that Jonny & Mr B&B talked about "whatever happened to that security guard" and then Billy saw on his phone on the missing persons website that the body found in the canal had a security uniform on?

Or am I making 2 + 2 = 50192536

Oh and Jeff, you can't just enforce power of attorney when the other person still has their faculties!

I saw the security guard uniform bit and jumped to Carl, Paul's abuser, he was a security guard at the mall I think.

Also, given that in the real world Alya would presumably object to the licencing application and is a 50% owner of the business, and would encourage others to object e.g. her local councillors, the Bistro owners and Murdering Jonny and The Sound Of Jenny, it would at least have to go to determination at the next available Local Authority's licencing panel, which currently would take at least 6 weeks to set up at a push.
