At one point last night, I really thought Craig was going to threaten Daniel with going for custody of Bertie.

I think that’s where they’re going with it.

Did anyone else piss themselves laughing at the younger Aggie sons facial expressions when older son came in? It was sooooo over acted like the old films when you're guilty of something and the music goes de de derrrrrrrr?

Yes and it totally confused me because he looked so guilty but I was like "he can't be the other man...he's gay...isn't he...?". So so bad bless him.

I actually don't know why I'm watching any more. The yasmeen storyline is the only one I'm interested in but that's dragging on so long I'm losing interest in that as well.

It was madness going back to 6 episodes a week with just half the cast. And no proper storylines

I know, Corrie was supposed to be an honoured institution, providing both light and dramatic relief during good times and bad.

Iconic characters. Dramatic plots. Joyous multi-generational humour.

And they give us this shite.

Hasn't been mentioned for a few episodes maybe it will just be ignored and the kids will be back playing in the garden as if nothing has happened

This is how ridiculous Corrie has got. what about Ray and that idea of buying the house? Is that forgotten now?

It's almost like they've decided to just do one off episodes and there is no reason to follow up on a storyline What gets me is... Corrie used to be absolutely 100% accurate on detail. The mad fans (I'm not one by the way!) would know every single tiny detail. If a picture was changed on a chest of drawers, if they got one thing wrong it was talked about.
Now, there is no detail. Multiple storylines just shoved to one side. New stories that contradict old ones all the time.
It's really gone downhill.

I quite enjoy the mayhem, but it's very different to the good old days. Three episodes a week did seem better in terms of keeping the flow, the quirky infill bits are dire in many ways, but exercise for my chin as my jaw drops.
My telly was out of bounds on Monday as the living room was being painted, I'm not feeling the urge to watch it back!

If a giant sinkhole opened on our street we would all go for a gawp and would talk about nothing else for years. Just another day in Corrie land.

Now it's been mentioned the sinkhole will return.
I can think of a few cast members who could accidentally fall in and never be seen again.
Looking at Aggie, Edison both sons, at least the girlfriend and her baby are on the way out.

I Also forgot about the sinkhole!! Proof of how awful Corrie is now when we’ve forgotten a huge story that happened a week ago.

Also, has anyone even mentioned The Sinkhole apart from David and Ray?

They all still seem to be living in the Platts house still, can’t exactly use their garden but one stay in a posh hotel and they’ve got over it? So...is it just going to stay there!?

Craig is annoying at the moment. He hangs his mouth open like Gemma which irritates me on a completely irrational level. But his constant "what about Bertie?" is annoying. Daniel is Bertie's father. He has parental responsibility and (apart from never seeming to actually have him around) he's not placing him in any danger. Bethany wasn't good enough for him. Nicky's not good enough for him. They don't get to choose his friends and partners just because they're related to his dead wife.

I'm not a devoted fan but I've noticed that some of the sets have changed! In Daniels flat, the layout of props looks a bit different, Adam's office looks larger and has windows in the seating and kitchen areas. Also the back room in The Rovers is far more spacious than ever as is the Platts lounge area. Maybe they're larger for social distancing purposes.

What the hell was the Aggie dad's face all about on hearing his son accused of kidnapping?!

Michael's dad does do the Dev type intonations but his acting is terrible
