You'd be spending your life knotting pieces of discarded string into useful length, and making your kids' clothes out of those blue IKEA bags, and living on a diet of substandard tutti-frutti while he was away wining and dining at the Cornetto Awards, or trying to hide his yacht from the Inland Revenue.

I'm really staggered at the gap between how some of these individuals themselves and how they look to others. I think Tracy expected to be admired as a strong, forgiving woman. Dean is knuckling under in order to stay in the game, but he's not far off exploding and telling the truth that he has no real interest at all. Tired of them both and I hope they don't dominate the next few weeks.

Davina has absorbed messages about "Be true to yourself" and twisted them to mean "And it's fine to ride roughshod over everyone else along the way". Something has really gone wrong with her. I'm a bit sorry we won't get to see her family to see if that explains anything.

Nasser was scary with his flash of temper, like he can't bear to lose face. I'd be so worried he might lose control momentarily. I was surprised Gabrielle didn't say leave. If someone says there is no sexual connection, you're just a friend to me and I don't fancy you...why would you stay in the hope they might suddenly change their mind?
I'd also be worried I'd come home one day and find Nasser cleaning in fishnets and bra, like on the Queen video of I Want to Break Free.

Sean is awful, felt sorry for Blair. But again, he'd already metaphorically hit her in the face with a wet kipper telling her he didn't fancy her, so why write stay and humiliate yourself after that?
