My favourite episode was on More4 earlier - The Mainland. I've seen it so many times but it still makes me cry laughing.

My dad and my ex boyfriend are Irish and they nearly came to blows in a restaurant fighting over who was paying the bill ShockGrin

LunaNorth · 24/08/2020 22:17

‘Are we all racist now, Father?’

Ginfordinner · 24/08/2020 22:18

Feck. Drink. Arse!

I love it and I love memes that have been created off the back of it. 😁

It’s an ecumenical matter.

NiceGerbil · 24/08/2020 22:22

Brilliant series the kids are old enough to watch it now so been enjoying them all from the start Grin

Queenoftheashes · 24/08/2020 22:22

God that one is funny. I want to impersonate Ted’s golden cleric acceptance for my (hypothetical) wedding speech... not sure people will get it though.
“... and now we move on... to LIARS”

Any time we go somewhere a bit rubbish it's always referred to as the Craggy Island fair. And we always have a look to see if we can find the tunnel of goats...

purrswhileheeats · 24/08/2020 22:23

Father Damien was a favourite of mine too. And Bishop Brennan Grin

Tolleshunt · 24/08/2020 22:23

I live the caravan one!

Also Kicking Bishop Brennan up the Arse.

Genius.

MadisonAvenue · 24/08/2020 22:25

I still as funny now as when it was first shown, I never tire of watching it.

Every time in our house that we’re trying to remind someone of something, one of us will say “you were wearing your blue jumper”.

Badabingbadabum · 24/08/2020 22:25

"I'm writing a cheque!"

isabellerossignol · 24/08/2020 22:25

Who was the Father that kept talking about boilers?

halfpasteleven · 24/08/2020 22:25

Loved Fr Fintan Stack (Brendan GraceRIP) ..

AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet · 24/08/2020 22:25

I saw the house a few weeks ago. It's in County Clare (west of Ireland) and it still looks exactly the same.

Beachbodylonggone · 24/08/2020 22:26

When Mrs Doyle falls out the window.
And the milkman one!!

PajamasnoDramas · 24/08/2020 22:26

Down with this sort of thing!

Queenoftheashes · 24/08/2020 22:27

I’ve had my fun, and that’s all that matters

thefemaleJoshLyman · 24/08/2020 22:28

The hairy baby milkman one makes me weep.

purrswhileheeats · 24/08/2020 22:28

Pat Mustard?

'I'm not asking permission' Grin
SoManyActivities · 24/08/2020 22:29

The best one was kicking Bishop Brennan up the arse!

And when he goes 'I need to be back in Rrrrrrome for an audience with the Pope' and Dougal goes 'ah I love those shows... did you see the one with Elton John?' 😂

Also the one where they get lost in the women's lingerie section of the department store!

purrswhileheeats · 24/08/2020 22:30

And poor Mrs Doyle when they bought her a Teasmaid Grin
