Strictly 2020, Bubbles and no Bruno?

I’m not sure if there is a thread already, please direct me to it if there is!

It’s summer which means its the time of year I start musing about which celebs might be up for the glitter ball trophy this year! I was a bit worried we might not be getting a series this year but a quick google reassured me plans are in place.

So it looks like they are hoping for bubbles between the stars and professionals families, possibly weekly CV testing and temp checks. Hair, make up and costume to be done with PPE. Sounds like they could put on a fairly similar show to normal. No audience though, which will be weird. And I guess no gathering of contestants for the scores, which will be weird. Will the whole thing lack atmosphere?

I think he's confused about which show he's going on GLTTRY, someone needs to tell him this is the one where you want to find a love of dancing and try out for a West End show.

It's not as good as DWTS line-up (which has Carole Baskin ) but the yanks ousted Tom in favour of Tyra as host so I hope they lose viewers in droves.
I only knew 3/12 above from name recognition only, recognised another facially and knew of two, half of them I couldn't have identified in a police line-up. But I didn't really know Ranj a couple of years back and loved him and Emma Viscountess last year so I am optimistic.
Currently rooting for JJ, Bill, Nicola and Caroline - but hoping the latter becomes a diva foot-stamping Lulu nightmare of Jan Ravens proportions. We haven't had one for a while!

in the past we have had Ashley, Mollie, Gemma all quoted as looking for love. It is less likely 2020 - if Gio/Katya are the only ones single...not that that stopped tattle over Nadiya and Oti last year (both married but since when does that stop tabloids...or me)

Has anyone else noticed that the Beeb are trailing a programme called "The Best of Strictly" Yaaay but no dates yet!!!!!

I've just jumped ahead on the TV guide after a hint from the BBC voice over last night. Next Saturday at 7(ish) begins the best of strictly shows, a look back over the best of the movies weeks! I'm so excited.. 1 hr 10 mins of strictly goodness! And from their Instagram appeals for participants, it seems they are doing 3 of these best of strictly shows which will then be followed by the main series for this year! So not long now. Less than a week until the strictly fun begins
