We have been discussing the series Our Girl since the first one aired in 2014 and are now on number 56! Occasionally between discussions of Our Girl, we watch the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

Elvis delivers the news that Georgie is being stalked by Abu. Why is it only Elvis who talks to her all the time.

Oh dear Elvis, CJ has his eye on you and calls him into the office. He does the big brother chat with him and tells him to leave Georgie alone.

I was just thinking about the bandy legs too. For some reason my dog has just done a growly twirl on sight of Elvis and Georgie walking up the beach - he's not sure at all!

Anither cringeworthy wedding prep scene

So Georgie goes to London and there is CJ looking pretty smart in his civvies with the old school tie.

There is Fred Thursday's wife, Win, from Endeavour. Ah....love that.

So Georgie has been briefed to get intel, poor Mum. How awful in these circumstances.

Poor mum.

Abu's mother has asked to see Georgie. It must be heartbreaking for her to think her son is a terrorist. They talk about his time at university and his girlfriend, Saira.

When Georgie tells her how she was abused and tortured during her captivity, it makes you realise what the kidnapped must go through. I am absolutely certain a woman would have had to endure an awful lot more than Georgie describes here.

Poor Mum again - to be told your son is evil. Heartbreaking stuff.

Elvis brings her a cup of tea - where is she now? See the editing's not great because Jamie was supposed to be going for her.

You can't move your wedding back a day or so in reality, can you?

Georgie has found Abu's girlfriend Saira on Facebook.

You can't move weddings back a day or so - how is that possible with a reception booked? It just can't be done.

Unless Jamie's parents are absolutely minted, there is no way a junior doctor could afford that. It's nuts!

How a doc can afford this, with a non- working wife and 7 kids....

For a doctor, this house will surely stretch his finances! It's massive.

Goergie can't really see herself as a lady who lunches, not that she will be able to do that with seven children to look after!

So, Georgie wants to give Jamie the slip - I've seen this place in passing.

As usual, it Elvis she talks to.

Saira and Georgie meet up and she explains how she got together with Abu/Jason.

Nice to know you have your own private bodyguard in the background in Elvis. How did he get into what I suppose is a hall of residence?

Oh dear, Jason's romance with Saira was a bit sad - or he was. Look who's keeping an eye out for Georgie as usual.
