We have been discussing the series Our Girl since the first one aired in 2014 and are now on number 56! Occasionally between discussions of Our Girl, we watch the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

Jamie and Georgie enjoy a pre-wedding night on the tiles.

Meanwhile, dastardly Abu gets his explosives and heaven knows what else together.

CJ and Georgie have a little heart to heart about her leaving the army but she's made her mind up.

Off they go for a hike in full kit.

Oh and who do we have here? Elvis looking rather dishy in his civvies. He suits that blue shirt. They both pretend to be rather offhand with each other.

Here's the man - trying to make it sound official, but any excuse. They both look back, cor that's awkward.

You'd imagine that the Lane's have had lots of practice at sorting out reception table seating - done it all before.

Elvis can't stop speaking to Georgie - does he really need to tell her this - I think not Any excuse.

Max and Grace are looking at the wedding table plans. I find them both extremely irritating.

Fortunately for Georgie, Elvis calls to say Abu has been spotted via CCTV.

Jamie's parents arrive to be introduced before the wedding. A bit late on in the day methinks.

I love this scene.

At the end of the hike, Elvis reappears to tell Georgie that he's seen photos of Georgie on Abu's bedroom wall.

Elvis does have bandy legs!
