We have been discussing the series Our Girl since the first one aired in 2014 and are now on number 56! Occasionally between discussions of Our Girl, we watch the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

Elvis looking out for her.

Jamie looks like he's sulking - "Why should I be?"

Jamie in full sulk because she gave him the slip.

It's CJ on the phone - ooh lovely!

God, the fact Jamie is sulking would put me off him! I wonder if this is the first time he's done the sulky child routine?

CJ rings. Georgie is going into the barracks tomorrow for her farewell.

What a coincidence that Elvis appears as they are leaving the building. He pulls the "classified" stunt to get Jamie out of the way. The kiss Jamie gives her is very possessive.

Ah, the lads have got her a cake and CJ is making one of his famous speeches.

Bet they wanted all their presents back when it all goes wrong.

Uh...oh, there's Elvis lying again. Poor Jamie.

Looks like they are social distancing at present.

Bit of an argument ensues.

Here we go. The lads have turned up at a rather swanky bar. CJ has some dubious friends, how embarrassing.

The pre-wedding party and Two Section are there to liven things up.

Max makes a speech which makes me cringe every single time. In fact, I usually fast forward over it.

Papa Lane has prepared another embarrassing speech. Actually, it's quite sweet really. Poor Dad, he does love her, can't blame him.

I fast forward through all the non-Elvis parts.

I love Nan's comment about her gas bill!

Sorry, it must have grown on me over the years. Grace, Max and Marie still annoy me, but I'm getting softer.

Abu makes the local news (the newsreader is actually on our local station by the way).

Elvis can't stop talking to her and she can't stop answering. She can't stop herself.

A few texts between Elvis and Georgie but I think she realises she shouldn't be doing this on the night before her wedding. Jamie also sends a text.

Um - if she texted him back instead of deleting, he’d be up that drainpipe in a flash.

Poor Jamie doesn't get a response.

This bit really scares me. What a nightmare.

Georgie has a nightmare. I actually thought Abu had got into her room the first time I saw this.
