We have been discussing the series Our Girl since the first one aired in 2014 and are now on number 56! Occasionally between discussions of Our Girl, we watch the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

Grim and tense stuff as Fingers lies seriously injured in the truck.

They need a medevac for Fingers and now they are being pursued by "bandits"

Lt Hurst looks terrified.

There's a blockade. How are they going to deal with this one, especially with Fingers seriously ill in the back of the troop carrier.

Georgie gets out the voice recorder - so sad, reminds me of series 1 music again, but no happy ending this time

It must be heartbreaking for Georgie and Mimi to listen to Fingers recording a message to Marie.

I really don’t think Georgie needs Mimi to tell her it is not good.

So glad that Georgie is with Fingers, though.
