We have been discussing the series Our Girl since the first one aired in 2014 and are now on number 56! Occasionally between discussions of Our Girl, we watch the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

Dr Bahil is brought out alive.

Omar is captured.

The baby hasn't yet arrived but they need to get out pdq as the van is packed with explosives and is heading in their direction.

They need to stop the truck before it gets to the house. This is good tough stuff.

God, this is just as gruesome second time around.

They succeed in stopping the truck in the nick of time.

Euphoria all round.

However.....

Now they are under attack again.

Throbber is definitely a loose cannon.

Throbber finally proves his worth.

Maisie would have driven that truck down like Louis Hamilton. Here comes the helicopter winch music to signal a triumph!

Fingers has been shot during the attack.

It never occurred to me at the time that he wouldn't survive.

Is everyone all right? Not Fingers. Ah....think I'm going to blub again.

Oh, never noticed that before when it says "to be continued" at the end. That's like Series 1 at the end of episode 4.

Ah, yes, the rescue music.
