Tonight's was a bit heavy on the snot'n'tears, wasn't it? If anyone can devise a way of Fletch responding quickly and successfully to his treatment and stopping Essie thinking that she should be able to carry on life as normal whilst she's undergoing chemo, please implement your plan ASAP.

Medani's torso was the only redeeming feature of this episode. I've no idea what the pills he bought were - any ideas?

So sad about Carol :( She needs to tell him, though. It's a tricky position for Sacha to be in.

I was very angry at Dom assuring Carol that she'd recover from her dementia. One of the first things they learn in med school, not to promise any particular outcome. Thankfully, I think she knows there's no getting better.

I really shuddered at the Evie story this evening - Jenny in effect "selling" her to that man, and encouraging her into his car - grim.

On a lighter note, any guesses who's coming back as CEO? My fingers are crossed for Serena or Ric.

Serena or Ric would be good. I can't think who else it might be who'd have experience as CEO. I'd love it to be Mo - imagine HH having to share his office with her :)

i actually liked last nights episode, Doms speech made me well up a bit, "Be more Carol", it was a lovely moment.

And Henrick talking to the son and saying he will be there for him, it was very moving.

Of course the usual rubbish, Kyle the blabber gob, and an argument about chairs.

Felt icky with poor Evie getting into the car knowing she has been "sold", poor Evie and Poor Fletch

I wonder who is coming back.

Also I hope Dr Kush is a little less anguished than Dr Kian. Although I would also be happy if Dr Kush needs the odd shower…

Woo hoo! At first I feared it was Connie, but how great that Jac's back. If she can just get Medani out of her head she'll do wonders for the place (hopefully starting with unmasking Jenny for the evil cow she is).

I like the new Nurse Practitioner she's brought with her (Madge?), and really liked the way she and Ange supported Kylie when that sex pest was fondling her bum.

At last I think there's going to be a breath of fresh air in Holby City Hospital, and will start a new thread to celebrate the event ...
