Tonight's was a bit heavy on the snot'n'tears, wasn't it? If anyone can devise a way of Fletch responding quickly and successfully to his treatment and stopping Essie thinking that she should be able to carry on life as normal whilst she's undergoing chemo, please implement your plan ASAP.

Medani's torso was the only redeeming feature of this episode. I've no idea what the pills he bought were - any ideas?

So he landed Sacha in it but withdrew his complaint because he doesn't want to get rid of him, just steal his position.

But surely now Sacha is back he just goes back to his role of being clinical lead? Why is there is a vacancy if he’s back?

Exactly, he wasn't sacked he was suspended and HH said he'd be vindicated in any investigation

Did anything happen with Jeni and her 'niece' in the latest episode. The last I saw was Jeni warning her to stay away from Holby. I could have sworn there was something in the latest episode but rather than watch the whole thing again i thought you lot could fill me in.

If they stuck with the decent writers instead of swopping all the time it may not be coming to an end.

No, @cittigirl, nothing happened about that - brief appearance from Jeni, she bumped into Fletch at the end, chatted about teenagers, bit of eye roll, butter wouldn't melt stuff from her and that was that!

Sacha offloading all the crappy clinical lead stress and admin onto Dom was a masterstroke though. Did he deliberately throw the interview?

I think Sacha looked smug because he realises Dom has bitten off more than he can chew, and because he is going to enjoy a break from the paperwork.
It's a bit like a parent allowing a child to spread its wings.

I think he did, when he was listing all the Cons of the job he sort of stopped as he probably realised he didnt need that shit and stress in his life anymore and oh how i celebrated when he handed over ALL the paperwork and reports to Dom, a master stroke and probably a bit of revenge!

I think Dom is going to struggle and will I really hope it comes to light that he ripped of Dr Hans ideas. He is an arse just for that alone

Yep, Sasha's basically dropped him in it to make him realise he's way out of his depth, arrogant little prick that he's become. Sasha can focus on being a doctor again and have a break from all the managerial side of it.

Tbf I think it'll do Sacha good to get back to just being a doctor without all the added stress. He's had a shit 18 months and probably just needs to reconnect to his patients and his inner self. Dom will realise that he's not up to the job but without having anyone else to blame. If Sacha had won the job he'd have been all "it's biased, you stole my chance, after everything you've done for me" blah blah blah.

What I like about the JDs is they don't seem sucked in by Dom's crap.

Dom used to be one of my favourite characters and now he’s just an arrogant, rude, selfish and mean twat. I really, really hope he screws up as Clinical Lead and has to go running to Sacha for help!

I felt a bit sorry for Dr Hudson.

I may be completely off the Mark but does anyone think Fletch’s girlfriend is somehow involved in the Andrei/drugs/stabbings storyline? She’s just coming across as a bit shifty.

And as for kian - the main reason he was in it was for us all to all have someone to drool over, but now that he’s looking like such a tramp (as said by a previous poster) I don’t care if he has died. As long as they bring in some more eye candy to replace him then his role in the show is if no significance to me Grin

I wondered about Jenni(?) being involved too. And has she got her eyes on Evie? She was being very solicitous and supportive but it didn't ring true.
