Tonight's was a bit heavy on the snot'n'tears, wasn't it? If anyone can devise a way of Fletch responding quickly and successfully to his treatment and stopping Essie thinking that she should be able to carry on life as normal whilst she's undergoing chemo, please implement your plan ASAP.

Medani's torso was the only redeeming feature of this episode. I've no idea what the pills he bought were - any ideas?

I'm sad he's died but I think the ripples from it will be tsunamic.

Fletch pushed him over the edge to an overdose. Jeong gave him access to the drugs. Who is an excellent actor. Lucky basically enabled it. Chloe couldn't save him. Andrei was a cog now without protection.

Sorry to disagree with some of your points, @SleepingStandingUp ! As I see it :

• The workload was more than Kian could cope with without having a fix (I don't believe he intended to OD), Fletch didn't push him over the edge
• Whilst it wasn't best practice for Jeong to leave the drug cupboard accessible, Kian was senior to him and it was reasonable to accept his word that he'd take care of it

I do agree that Jeong is a likable character and an excellent actor, and that Lucky must bear some responsibility.

Is it just me or was anyone else surprisingly unmoved by last night's episode? I was just so over the whole ridiculous Kian/Andre/Lucky scenario.

No me too. Really unmoved. I have on previous occasions sobbed buckets over Holby storylines.

Oh sorry @optimist1 I didn't mean I thought that. I meant Fletch will be worried he... Jeong will be worried he.... Etc. So there will be personal ripples (or all just forgot about in a week!) but yes totally not Fletch or Jeong or Chloe's fault. Lucky's not blameless tho

Can anyone remember when Holby is ending? I just had a thought that they could kill most people off and go zombie apocalypse like Shaun of the Dead. That would be a fitting way to end 😂

Why was Jeni permanently standing in the corner of Evie’s room while Evie was unconscious/coming round/only just awake after the op? It seemed really odd to me, and she wasn’t even offering any support to Fletch in these scenes. She’s definitely dodgy!

Yeah I think she was meant to be showing she's supportive but yes she's dodgier than a jam and cream based biscuit
