Tonight's was a bit heavy on the snot'n'tears, wasn't it? If anyone can devise a way of Fletch responding quickly and successfully to his treatment and stopping Essie thinking that she should be able to carry on life as normal whilst she's undergoing chemo, please implement your plan ASAP.

Medani's torso was the only redeeming feature of this episode. I've no idea what the pills he bought were - any ideas?

I love Fletch too, I won't let Dom hurt him. If he doesn't change in 5 months we'll kill him off in a really boring way

It does seem odd that everyone has just gone oh yeah, Sacha did it. Even Sacha hasn't really fought it

Always found Ange a bit meh.
Sasha was such a key character, then he just went, no repercussions, no fight back, very strange.

I've had a good long think (sad, I know) about who I want to appear in Casualty.

That's it. I've decided that the others could have mishaps: the ones I dislike present to A&E and are treated by Jac, who will obviously save their lives, but not without much eye rolling, sardonic comments and putting in their places. I like the idea of Ange being admitted and put through her paces.

Fletch will soothe nerves, keep Jac on the straight and narrow.

Most of all, I want Jac's cheekbones.

I don't like Dom now and don't care at all about Ange and Chloe.

Kian is a total waste of space.

Donna has been in forever and a day so deserves her happy ending.

The guy who plays Fletch could be on his way back to The Bill?

There need to be some therapeutic interventions for HH and Sacha to find happiness.

I like Max and Louis and would like Nikki to come back.

Given how slowly a lot of the storylines move I would have thought some of the 'heading to the finale' ones are already in play.

Kian is a total waste of space I mean that is utterly unfair. There was the mountain when he got naked and there's been a few topless scenes and I'm sure he should shower more.

I like original Kian without the addict storyline. The stuff when Jac was in hospital and his relationship with Nikki. I'm not liking this Kian. He should have more showers. On screenm

Yes, there is a need for Kian’s morning routine to be shown, the bit before he leaves the house.

I just wish they’d give him a haircut and give him a shave.

I want the beautiful Kian back - not this unkempt, straggly version.

Would love to see Jac reappear as M in a bond film

My predictions/hopes for Casulalty 2022 (after Holby finishes)

Jac will take over Connor's position and cause absolute murder and upset everybody. Then Fletch will visit one day, smooth things over with them all and everybody will beg him to stay.

Louis will arrive as an agency nurse and will start a relationship with Robyn. She will be shocked to discover his secret but will get over it a d they'll have their happy ending.

Nicky will be drafted in as a new consultant when Ethan leaves to travel the world with Fenisha. She will be hopelessly jealous of Louis and Robyn and there'll be a love triangle. In the end though she'll help Matthew heal his broken heart as a "mate" but then they'll fall in love.

The world has officially gone mad.
Casualty won a BAFTA.
Still shaking my head in disbelief. The cast looked shocked when they won - gobsmacked. So they should.

It’s too confusing for me.

He's set his heart on getting the clinical lead position as in his mind this will "make up" for him having to have a stoma. He's always been massively vain and insecure and it's what drives him. So he landed Sacha in it but withdrew his complaint because he doesn't want to get rid of him, just steal his position. He grassed Ange up for the same reason I assume, she's his "competition" now. But the faces in the lift scene, he's obviously having some doubts so we'll see.

Is it just me or are the storylines getting increasingly ludicrous? I suspect they've already moved on some of the script-writers.

Sasha's return was rubbish. He comes back all meek, bowing down nicely to nasty Dom when Dom screwed him over. And Dom is so inexperienced yet he suddenly can do this mighty job.

But surely now Sacha is back he just goes back to his role of being clinical lead? Why is there is a vacancy if he’s back?

I really like your ideas for when Holby invades Casualty @GeorgeandHarold66 especially Louis and Robyn - that would be sooo sweet!
Dom has loads of deep rooted ishooos and insecurities, remember when he was in that abusive relationship? Like he felt it was all he deserved? Whoever said he wants to be clinical lead, I agree - nothing and no one will stop him. He's lashing out and blaming the world for his stoma - punishing the people who looks out for him (Angie/Sasha) because he's hurt and angry and vindictive. Complex character.

So, Fletch's girl has run off with thingy! That'll end well (not).

It is pretty rubbish, I agree.

Next week I predict Sasha will be welcomed back with open arms, Dom will get more and more jealous and his power trip will grow - he'll slip up, Sasha will save the day and confront Dom, who will break down, and then we'll see lovely Dom again, and all will be well, for five minutes.

I felt so sorry for her....

Although she did come across as a bit boiler bunnyish talking about how they could have something special etc before they’d even been on a date...

Lucky's a weak character - the way she's enabled Kian with the drugs thing and Andre is so implausible. I do think she's potentially going to go full bunny-boiler now though.

Lucky has a limited range of facial expressions too. Bit like Charlie Fairhead.
