Tonight's was a bit heavy on the snot'n'tears, wasn't it? If anyone can devise a way of Fletch responding quickly and successfully to his treatment and stopping Essie thinking that she should be able to carry on life as normal whilst she's undergoing chemo, please implement your plan ASAP.

Medani's torso was the only redeeming feature of this episode. I've no idea what the pills he bought were - any ideas?

The Jac/Kian fallout was badly underplayed - I was expecting them to make more of that than just 'He's gone to see his mum'.

I was pleased for once to remember to look at the credits and realise that Nicki’s mum is Cathy Murphy who was Tilly on House of Elliot. That would have bothered me all day otherwise.

Forgot to say, at Nicki’s reaction to how dangerous the heart surgery was. I think I could have worked that out and I’m not studying cardiology. That was ludicrous.

Especially as I think it is the same operation Bea had before she died and Nicky was involved in that.

Essie's bid for sainthood continues - how fortunate that a surgeon, anaesthetist and operating theatre were available for her to oversee (and assist in) Fletch's op.

If I was as devious as Guy is made out to be, I'd have ditched the faulty stent and replaced it with a perfect one so that when Max discovered it and sent it for testing it would blow Jac's accusation out of the water.

I was thinking the lipid bag from tpn but urine would be easier. Won't urine leak out though, no way are they air tight

A yeah, new head def doesn't look 16 so I wonder if they're going to do a heavy storyline with her but we've already done teen pregnancy with Ric altho he sent her back to her Dad's quick so maybe teenage pregnancy and Ange pregnancy at same time

So has Kian left the series completely now? I was so pleased that he and Jac were finally opening up to each other.

I thought I must have missed an episode as nobody seemed to have really noticed Kian had gone, or reflect on his odd behaviour on his last day!
