Tonight's was a bit heavy on the snot'n'tears, wasn't it? If anyone can devise a way of Fletch responding quickly and successfully to his treatment and stopping Essie thinking that she should be able to carry on life as normal whilst she's undergoing chemo, please implement your plan ASAP.

Medani's torso was the only redeeming feature of this episode. I've no idea what the pills he bought were - any ideas?

I found that episode really boring.

That was such an odd episode, so much going on but it was a bit flat at the same time... more racing through storylines, packing a month's worth into one episode. Essie's end is going to be really hard to watch, isn't it : (

I don't understand why she's at work. Surely given she's decided no more treatment she'd want to be with Isla?

Apparently a distracted mind is a happy mind.....

She looked in no fit state to be at work though did she?!

I’m dreading the episode where she dies, it will be so sad

I'm still confused why she isn't desperate to contact Frankie to take her back rather than playing pass the parcel

Maybe she doesn’t think frankie can give Isla a good life and so she’d rather spend the remainder of her time, and then die, thinking that Isla will be with Sacha and will be loved and have a good start in life?

I can't remember what the custody decision was, I'm just confused that she can P ass her on, but then I'm not familiar with the real life rules.
And yes I meant for her to go to Frankie once she died.

There'll probably be a whole big further-heartache-for-Sascha custody drama once she's died, when Frankie turns up at the funeral wanting Isla back.

I know nothing of the legalities, but I would have thought that Sacha's job, age and the fact he would be a single parent would be very difficult to cope with. In addition, his mental health has been fragile and is unlikely to improve once Essie's gone. Of course he'll do everything in his power to comply with her wishes, but I'm not convinced it'll end well.

I want to watch but can't deal with all the cancer scenes at the moment due to family circumstances. Will the other stories make sense if I just fast forward Essie and Fletch? I am a few episodes behind at the moment - just watched the one where Phoenix turns up in hospital and Kian bails on his date with Jac at the end...

Yeah they will, they're interlocking with each other but not much e!se. F!etch gets the all clear if that helps xx

I am quite enjoying Kian/Jac, and the introduction of Louis, and want to see how the Cameron thing turns out so don't want to stop watching completely, but Essie's story is too hard atm.

Cameron is making me so angry... Oh and I can't believe they have Kian back on the drugs again....

I came on here to say how angry Cameron makes me and I see I've been beaten to it! He's awful and needs to be found out soon!

Bored of Essie’s storyline. Why is she still working?

I liked John Barrowman’s character. Although he didn’t sound very Scottish to me.

I like evil Cameron! Scratching the car at the end. He could have transferred money to Nicky at any time too as he seems to have loads of money. I missed what happened to his dad, is he still around?

Donna struggling to pay the bills - did she not have death in service benefit paid to her?

Donna and Xav weren't married and not together at the end so she wouldn't get any money from the hospital....

John Barrowman's Scottish accent was awful! Nice to see him pop up, but if he's going to be a regular character they need to phase that accent out pronto.

He is Scottish though... That's why I couldn't understand why the accent was crap! 😕 😕 😕

I’m also finding Sacha very frustrating so was pleased when Frankie said no. And shouted when she capitulated! Dom hit the nail on the head that he’s being selfish and I liked how his character recognised himself in it.

Thing is he's normally so selfless and bending back over to please everyone, it's good to see a different side.
